The fight between Kevin “The Silencer” Belingon of Ifugao, Philippines and Kevin “Oldboy” Chung of Centreville, Virginia, United States in the bantamweight division at “ONE: Legends of the World” was so intense that ONE Championship chief executive officer Chatri Sityodtong considered it the most exciting fight of the evening. After three five-minute rounds, the Filipino mixed martial artist was declared the winner via unanimous decision.
ONE Championship held “ONE: Legends of the World” at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines on the evening of November 10, 2017. Yuji Shimada served as the referee of the bantamweight bout between Belingon and Chung.
Chung had his first loss as a professional MMA fighter that night and he was not the only one. Like Chung, Danny Kingad and Hayato Suzuki had their undefeated records broken at “ONE: Legends of the World.”
Belingon now hold a professional MMA record of 17 wins and 5 losses . Chung now has 5 wins and 1 loss.
