Nicole Justine Smith, 24, of Phoenix, Arizona, United States represented Arizona in the 67th edition of Miss USA. Before this, she competed for the Miss Arizona Teen USA title once and the Miss Arizona USA title six times.

Known as the Valley of the Sun, Phoenix is a vibrant desert metropolis that seamlessly blends urban sophistication with rugged natural beauty. As the fifth-largest city in the U.S., it thrives as a major cultural and economic hub. The city is celebrated for its year-round sunshine, towering saguaro cacti, and stunning desert landscapes, including the iconic Camelback Mountain.

On November 20, 2011, Smith almost won Miss Arizona Teen USA 2012. She was second runner-up to Alexa Zellers.

Runner-up to Zellers was Nicole Bell. The respective third and fourth runners-up were Elizabeth Riley and Elle Max.

Representing Arizona, Zellers was unplaced at Miss Teen USA 2012. The title was won by Connecticut’s Logan West, who was unplaced at Miss America’s Outstanding Teen 2011.

On January 6, 2013, Smith vied for the Miss Arizona USA 2013 title. She was second runner-up to Rachel Massie.

On December 4, 2013, Smith competed for the title again. She was third runner-up to Jordan Wessel.

On November 23, 2014, Smith went to the Mesa Arts Center in Mesa, Arizona to compete for the title for the third time. She was fourth runner-up to Maureen Montagne, who later became Miss Eco International 2019 first runner-up and The Miss Globe 2021.

On November 22, 2015, Smith was a Miss Arizona USA candidate for the fourth time. She finished in the Top 15.

For the sixth time, Smith competed for the title on November 19, 2017 and won. The first runner-up was Zellers, who won Miss Arizona Teen USA 2012.

On May 21, 2018, Smith represented Arizona at Miss USA 2018 at the Hirsch Memorial Coliseum in Shreveport, Louisiana, USA. She competed against 50 other candidates including Nebraska’s Sarah Rose Summers, who won the title.

Smith was unplaced. Runner-up to Summers was North Carolina’s Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Nevada’s Carolina Urrea was second runner-up.

Summers was Miss Nebraska Teen USA 2012. She was unplaced at Miss Teen USA 2012.

Miller-Keyes was Miss Virginia Teen USA 2013. She was unplaced at Miss Teen USA 2013.
