Mister Global is one of the six grand slam international male beauty pageants. The others are Mister International, Mister World, Mister Supranational, Man of the World and Manhunt International.
On October 23, 2000, Roderick “Eric” Dilla Salvador, then 24, of Baguio City, Philippines was 24 when he represented the Philippines at Mister World 2000 in Perthshire, Scotland and was unplaced. On July 28, 2017, Christopher Dulagan, then 22, of Baguio City represented the Philippines at Man of the World 2017 in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines and finished in the Top 10.
On March 15, 2022, Mister Global 2019 Kim Jong Woo, 25, of South Korea will crown his successor in Maha Sarakham, Thailand. It is the seventh edition of the international male beauty pageant.
Six of the 33 Mister Global 2021 candidates are from North America. Here is their names:
