Orangel de Jesús Dirinot Guanipa, 26, of Coro, Falcón, Venezuela is currently in Metro Manila, Philippines. The Venezuelan television host and model represented his home country in the 14th edition of Mister International.

Coro, the capital of Falcón, stands as one of the oldest cities in South America. Founded on July 26, 1527, by Juan de Ampíes, it served as the first capital of the Spanish Captaincy General of Venezuela and hosted the continent’s first bishopric in 1531.

With over 600 historic buildings featuring bright adobe walls and cobblestone streets, Coro and its nearby port, La Vela de Coro, were collectively designated a United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage Site in 1993.

Located at the base of the isthmus connecting to the Paraguaná Peninsula, Coro sits in a dry, hot environment. North of the city lies the Médanos de Coro National Park, a striking landscape of shifting sand dunes that creates a desert-like atmosphere. As a historic crossroads, the city remains a testament to early colonial expansion, serving as a base for expeditions during the quest for El Dorado and later becoming a focal point in the movements that pioneered Venezuelan independence.

On September 28, 2021, Dirinot represented Falcon at Caballero Venezuela 2021, competed against 16 other candidates and won the title. On June 30, 2022, he signed a contract as a host of “¿Y qué hay de nuevo?“, a show aired on Venezuelan TV channel Canal i.

Hosted by Michael Bristol, the Mister International 2022 coronation night was held at the New Frontier in Cubao, Quezon City, Metro Manila on October 30, 2022. Including Venezuela, a total of 35 countries and territories were represented.

It was Manu Franco, 21, of the Dominican Republic who emerged as the winner. Lukanand Kshetrimayum, 20, of India was runner-up to Franco.

Dirinot was second runner-up. The respective third, fourth and fifth runners-up were Jason Li of Hong Kong, MJ Ordillano of the Philippines and Juan Pablo Colías of Spain.

Roger Hugo Amandus, 21, of Malaysia finished in the Top 16 while Julius was unplaced. Malaysia will host the 15th edition of Mister International in 2023.

Mister International is one of the five grand slam male international beauty pageants. The others are Mister World, Mister Global, Mister Supranational and Man of the World.

On June 18, 2022, the Man of the World 2022 coronation night was held at the Baguio Convention Center in Baguio City, Philippines. It was hosted by model Fabio Ide, 38, of Brazil and Miss Earth 2008 Karla Paula Henry, 36, of the Philippines.
