Anđela Gajić, 18, of Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina is one of the 116 Miss World 2023 candidates. The winner will be crowned at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, India on March 9, 2024.
This is the 71st edition of Miss World. It is the second time India is hosting the international beauty pageant.
Reigning Miss World 2021 Karolina Bielawska, 24, of Lodz, Poland was crowned at the Coca-Cola Music Hall in San Juan, Puerto Rico on March 16, 2022. She was not able to crown her successor from 2022 to 2023.
Currently, Bosnia and Herzegovina has one Miss World placement. Representing the European country, Danijela Vinš finished in the Top 20 at Miss World 2002.
Gajić is a model currently pursuing a medical degree. She enjoys reading books about psychology.
On June 25, 2023, Gajić represented Banja Luka at Miss Bosnia and Herzegovina 2023 competed against 20 other candidates at the Bosnian Cultural Center in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She won the title.
Runner-up to Gajić was Andela Joksimovic of Trebinja. Anisa Obad of Mostar second runner-up.
