The Mister World 2024 coronation ceremony will be held at NovaWorld in Phan Thiết, Bình Thuận, Vietnam on November 23, 2024. It is the 11th edition of the international male beauty pageant based in London, England, United Kingdom.
Phan Thiết is a resort city that was originally a fishing village. It is the capital of Bình Thuận, which known for its scenery and beaches.
Jack Heslewood of England won the 10th Mister World edition at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines on August 23, 2019. He bested 71 other candidates.
A total of 75 men are expected to compete for the Mister World 2024 title. One of them is Victor Marcial Soto Espinoza, 28, who will represent Peru.
Who is Victor Soto?
Soto is an environmental engineer from Iquitos, Maynas, Loreto, Peru. He graduated from the Universidad Científica del Perú in Iquitos with a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering.
Iquitos is only accessible by air and river. It is the largest city in the world that cannot be reached by road that is not on an island.
Currently, Soto is working at Consorcio Vias Alzamora in Iquitos. As an environmental advocate, he wants to promote a healthy life to as many people and living creatures as possible.
On November 23, 2019, Soto competed at Mister Peru Internacional Loreto 2020 at Colegio San Agustin in Iquitos. He was runner-up to Roger Guzmán.
On March 1, 2022, Soto represented Loreto at Mister Peru Internacional 2022 and competed against 15 other finalists. He was second runner-up to Yover Peña.
On September 18, 2024, Soto turned 28. On September 20, 2024, he was officially appointed Mister World Peru 2024.
