Lochlan “Lochie” Carey, 25, of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia is Australia’s Mister World 2024 candidate. He is an events producer and a model

Born and raised in Melbourne, Carey speaks English and German. He is 6’0″ tall.

Carey attended McKinnon Secondary College and John Monash Science School, which are both in Melbourne. He is the second Manhunt International winner from Australia.

Manhunt International Male Supermodel 2022

On November 15, 2019, Carey competed against 15 other Manhunt Australia Male Model of the Year 2019 candidates. Riley Channells won the title and Maurice Salib and Kelvin Shone were the respective first and second runners-up.

In July 2021, Carey joined Trojan Events as a model. In July 2022, he was appointed Manhunt Australia 2022.

On October 1, 2022, Carey represented Australia at Manhunt International Male Supermodel 2022 and competed against 33 other candidates at the Okada Manila in Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines. He won the title.

On December 20, 2023, Carey turned 25. On May 26, 2024, he crowned his successor Manhunt International Male Supermodel 2024 Kevin Dasom at the Ayutthaya City Park in Ayutthaya, Thailand.

Mr. World 2024

On October 21, 2024, Carey was officially appointed Mr. World Australia 2024. On November 23, 2024, he will represent Australia at Mr. World 2024 at NovaWorld in Phan Thiết, Bình Thuận, Vietnam.

Including Carey, a total of 75 men will compete for the title. This is the 11th edition of Mr. World. The 10th edition was won by Jack Heslewood of England at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines on August 23, 2019.

Australia was represented at Mr. World 2019 by Melbourne’s Jonathan Berry. He was unplaced.
