Noor Xarmina, 29, of Islamabad, Pakistan is currently in Mexico. She will represent Pakistan in the 73rd edition of Miss Universe.
On November 18, 2023, Erica Robin represented Pakistan in the 72nd edition of Miss Universe at the Gimnasio Nacional José Adolfo Pineda in San Salvador, El Salvador and finished in the Top 20. It was the first time the South Asian country was represented in the international beauty pageant currently owned by JKN Global Group and Legacy Holding Group.
Noor Xarmina
Xarmina attended Headstart School in Islamabad and the American International School of Bucharest in Voluntari, Bucharest. She earned his bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Imperial College London in London, England, United Kingdom.
In 2021, Xarmina was an investment analyst at Nauta Capital in London and an investment associate at Frog Capital in London. From 2022 to 2023, she was a member of Rated People‘s board of directors.
In August 2022, Xarmina graduated from London Business School in London with a master’s degree in management. In 2023, she moved to Pakistan to pursue acting and modeling.
Miss Universe 2024
On July 20, 2024, Xarmina competed against eight other Miss Universe Pakistan 2024 finalists at Brennia Kottefaru in Raa Atoll, Maldives. She won the title.
Runner-up to Xarmina was Nimra Jacob of Balochistan. The respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Karen Pinto of Karachi, Anzela Abbasi of Karachi and Zainab Raza of Lahore.
On October 29, 2024, Xarmina arrived in Mexico. On November 16, 2024, she will represent Pakistan at Miss Universe 2024 at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico.
Including Xarmina, 130 women will compete for the title. The other candidates from South Asia are Aniqa Alam, 34, of Bangladesh, Rhea Singha, 19, of India, Ava Vahneshan, 26, of Iran, Mariyam Saina, 21, of the Maldives, Sampada Ghimire, 23, of Nepal, Melloney Dassanayake, 25, of Sri Lanka and Ayliz Duman, 20, of Turkey.
Mario Lopez will host the coronation ceremony. Miss Universe 1977 first runner-up Eva Cavalli and Miss Universe 1978 Margaret Gardiner will serve as judges along with Emilio Estefan, Jessica Carrillo, Lele Pons and Romero Britto.
