Algert Beraj, 28, of Tirana, Albania is currently in Vietnam, the host country of Mister World 2024. This is the 11th edition of the international beauty pageant based in London, England, United Kingdom.
Representing England, Jack Heslewood won the 10th edition at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines on August 23, 2019. Fezile Mkhize of South Africa and Brian Faugier of Mexico were the respective first and second runners-up.
Algert Beraj
Beraj is 6′1⁄2” tall. He has been modeling professionally since 2017.
From January 2017 to April 2019, Beraj was signed with Grace Models in Albania. In January 2019, he joined IModels Management in Tirana.
After graduating from Shkolla Teknike Ekonomike Tiranë in Tirana, Beraj went to the Kolegji Universitar i Biznesit in Tirana where he earned his bachelor’s degree in finance. He was an economist at Silda Shkurta SH.P.K. in Fier, Albania from October 2022 to December 2023.
In December 2023, Beraj joined Timak in Kashar, Tirana as a finance specialist. On June 16, 2024, he turned 28.
Mr. World 2024
On October 7, 2024, Beraj was officially appointed Mr. World Albania 2024. On November 5, 2024, he traveled from Albania to Vietnam.
On November 9, 2024, Beraj finished in the Top 36 in the talent competition of Mr. World 2024. In the same day, he did not make it to the Top 12 of the competition’s top model challenge.
On November 23, 2024, Beraj will represent Albania at Mr. World 2024 at NovaWorld in Phan Thiết, Bình Thuận, Vietnam. He will compete against 59 other candidates including Vladimir Vukcevic, 20, of Montenegro.
Representing the host country is Phạm Tuấn Ngọc, 25. The other candidates from Asia-Pacific are Lochlan Carey, 25, of Australia, Tim Kiriwi of New Zealand and Kirk Bondad Wachsmuth, 27, of the Philippines.
This makes Beraj the third man to represent Albania in Mr. World. Both Gerald Shahu and Ervin Pepaj were unplaced when they represented the European country in the competition in 2003 and 2007, respectively.
