Vincent Gobuamang
Vincent “Livino” Gobuamang, 22, of Qabo, Ghanzi, Botswana is currently in Vietnam, the host country of Mister World 2024. This is the 11th edition of the international beauty pageant based in London, England, United Kingdom.
Gobuamang, who is 5’4″ tall, is a fashion model. He is a student of Kitso International College in Gaborone, Botswana where he is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
On October 14, 2022, Gobuamang won Mr. RADP Fashion Show 2022, a beauty pageant held by the Rural Area Development Programme (RADP). He is now making history as the second man to represent Botswana in Mr. World.
On September 20, 1996, Felix Chavaphi represented Botswana in the inaugural edition of Mr. World and competed against 49 other candidates at the Anadolu Auditorium in Şişli, Istanbul, Turkey. He was unplaced but he won the Mister Personality award.
Mister World 2024
On August 11, 2024, Gobuamang’s Mr. World Botswana 2024 journey started. He met his fellow finalists during the first day of their bootcamp. The coronation ceremony was held on October 8, 2024. He won the title.
On October 22, 2024, Gobuamang went to the Ghanzi Main Kgotla in Ghanzi to attend the homecoming event prepared for him by the residents and officials of Ghanzi. On November 6, 2024, he traveled from Botswana to Sandton, South Africa to Vietnam.
On November 9, 2024, Gobuamang finished in the Top 36 of the Mr. World 2024 talent competition. On November 11, 2024, he and his fellow candidates delivered speeches about their personal advocacies before the judges at the Imperial Hotel in Vũng Tàu, Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu, Vietnam.
The coronation ceremony will be held at NovaWorld in Phan Thiết, Bình Thuận, Vietnam on November 23, 2024. Representing Botswana, Gobuamang will compete against 59 other candidates including Felipe Salvador Maria, 26, of Angola, Natnael Yazbec, 28, of Ethiopia, Djibril Cissé, 28, of Guinea, Teddy Rossiter of Kenya, Govind Nagi of Mauritius, Alhaji Hassan Mansaray, 26, of Sierra Leone and Samuel Chauke, 30, of South Africa.
