Timoti “Tim” Kiriwi, 34, is a professional model based in Los Angeles, California, United States. He is originally from Auckland, New Zealand.
Kiriwi is 6’1″ tall. In 2014, he was featured in a Tesla commercial.
Before moving to Los Angeles, Kiriwi attended Pakuranga College in Half Moon Bay, Auckland. In 2016, he co-hosted a Maori Television show called “Grid” with Kaea Pearce and Brock Ashby.
Mister World 2024
On October 31, 2024, Kiriwi was officially appointed Mr. World New Zealand 2024. On November 5, 2024, he arrived in Vietnam.
On November 9, 2024, Kiriwi finished in the Top 36 of the Mr. World 2024 talent competition. On the same day, he participated in the beauty pageant’s modeling competition at the Villa Blanche in Vũng Tàu, Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu, Vietnam but did not make it to the Top 12.
On November 11, 2024, Kiriwi and his fellow Mr. World 2024 candidates discussed their personal advocacies before the judges during the head-to-head challenge at the Imperial Hotel in Vũng Tàu, Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu, Vietnam. He was not selected as one of the Top 20 finalists.
On November 23, 2024, the Mr. World 2024 coronation ceremony will be held at NovaWorld in Phan Thiết, Bình Thuận, Vietnam. Representing New Zealand, Kiriwi will compete against 59 other candidates including Lochlan “Lochie” Carey, 25, of Australia and Daryn Alexander Friedman, 25, of the U.S.
Kiriwi and Carey are the only candidates from Oceania. On October 1, 2022, the latter represented Australia at Manhunt International Male Supermodel 2022 at the Okada Manila in Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines and won the title.
This marks the third time New Zealand is represented in Mr. World. Both Arnold Arthur du Toit and Courtenay Bernard were unplaced when they represented the Oceanian country in the competition in 2010 and 2012, respectively.
