Kallang Alive Sport Management, the corporate entity overseeing the Singapore Sports Hub, has officially rebranded as The Kallang Group, with the surrounding precinct now operating simply as The Kallang.
To kick off the new corporate identity, the venue will host Countdown 2026 at The Kallang on December 31, 2025 featuring a headline performance by K-pop group Super Junior and a 35-minute fireworks display across the Kallang Basin. Event attendees will also have the opportunity to win “The Kallang Pass,” granting one winner a pair of tickets to select major events at the National Stadium and Singapore Indoor Stadium throughout 2026.
Based in Seoul, South Korea, Super Junior was formed in 2005. It currently has 10 members namely Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Siwon, Donghae, Ryeowook and Kyuhyun.

The brand refresh was unveiled at the National Stadium’s Bank of Singapore (BOS) Lounge by Chairman Keith Magnus and Chief Executive Officer Quek Swee Kuan before an audience of over 300 stakeholders, staff, and partners.
Anchored by the new tagline “Feel Alive,” the rebranding reflects the precinct’s growth across its four core pillars: sport, entertainment, lifestyle, and community.
“The launch of The Kallang marks an exciting new chapter for us,” said Keith Magnus, Chairman of The Kallang Group. “Over the past three years, this precinct has transformed into a dynamic hub for world-class sport, entertainment and community life, hosting over 4,000 event days and welcoming more than nine million visitors. The Kallang is not just a world-class venue. It is a feeling, a connection, a shared memory.”
Strong growth, major event pipeline
Since returning to government management in 2022, the precinct has seen significant growth in event days and spectator attendance. The venue hosted major international competitions, including the World Aquatics Championships and World Para Swimming Championships, alongside high-profile entertainment acts such as Lady Gaga’s exclusive Asian tour stop.
“For Team Singapore athletes, The Kallang has always been a training ground and stage for world-class excellence,” said Yip Pin Xiu, Singapore’s most decorated Paralympian. “This refreshed identity will continue to inspire the nation.”
“The best venues don’t simply stage events — they create powerful connections between athletes and their fans,” added Charles Hsiung, President of APG and Women’s Tennis Association Tournament Board Representative for APAC. “The Kallang’s strength lies in its efficiency, multifunctional capability, and clear delivery of the organisation’s values and mission.”
Phased infrastructure upgrades
Alongside the name change, The Kallang Group outlined a series of infrastructure improvements scheduled to begin phased development in Q2 2026, with full completion targeted for 2028:
- Waterfront & Dining: Revamped esplanade featuring new alfresco dining concepts along the Kallang Basin.
- Family & Active Spaces: Evolution of Splash-N-Surf into an upgraded children’s sensory playscape.
- New Sports Facilities: Introduction of a sheltered padel tennis ecosystem with competition-ready courts.
- Recreational Upgrades: Upgraded climbing and bouldering facilities inside Kallang Wave Mall, which will remain operational during construction.
The Kallang Group also reaffirmed its commitment to social impact, expanding access for underserved communities through charity partnerships and exploring the creation of a dedicated philanthropic fund to support local social causes.
