Algerian-Swiss mixed martial artist Mohamed “L’Ambiance” Said Maalem, 42, was one of the winners at the BRAVE Combat Federation event “BRAVE CF 106”. The event was held at the Hala Tivoli in Ljubljana, Slovenia on June 6, 2026.
Fighting out of Algeria by way of Geneva, Switzerland, Said Maalem turned back the perception of time, delivering a statement victory that reinforced a singular truth in combat sports: age is just a number when willpower refuses to fade. Inside the electric atmosphere of the Hala Tivoli, he shattered expectations by dethroning Erko “The Bounty Hunter” Jun, 35, in their highly anticipated rematch to become the new BRAVE CF Light Heavyweight World Champion.
Jun is fighting out of Antwerp, Belgium by way of Bosnia and Herzegovina. On April 20, 2024, he knocked out Said Maalem via punches at “BRAVE CF 81” at Hala Tivoli.

“BRAVE CF 106“
On September 28, 2024, Jun became the BRAVE CF Light Heavyweight World Champion by defeating Alexander Wesner of Germany via technical knockout at “BRAVE CF 88” at the the Hala Tivoli. The Bosnian-Belgian champion defended the title for the first time at “BRAVE CF 106”.
“It felt like an unforgettable night that I will carry with me forever,” Said Maalem stated after his “BRAVE CF 106” victory. “Every sacrifice, every setback, every doubt led me here”.
