Mister World Botswana 2024 Vincent “Livino” Gobuamang has yet to crown his successor. It has been more than a year since he represented his home country in the 11th edition of Mister World.

The 12th edition of the international beauty is expected to be held before 2027. Details about the date and venue of the coronation ceremony have yet to be finalized.

Vincent Gobuamang

Hailing from Qabo, Ghanzi, Botswana, Gobuamang is a fashion model who is passionate about farming and charity work. His Mister World 2024 advocacy project focused on farming and helping children in school.

Gobuamang is 5’4″ tall, he speaks Naro, Setswana and English and he enjoys football and horse riding. He raised cattle commercially while living with his family in the Kalahari desert and donated the profits to a preschool in Ghanzi.

Born in 2002, Gobuamang was a teenager when he won a beauty pageant held by the Rural Area Development Programme (RADP). He was crowned Mr. RADP Fashion Show 2022 on October 14, 2022.

In February 2023, Ghanzi District Council chairperson Jeremiah Tibi asked the community and government officials of Ghanzi to use Gobuamang to raise awareness about social problems including drug and alcohol abuse. The latter joined a national beauty pageant while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering at Kitso International College (KIC) in Gaborone, Botswana.

Established in 2016, KIC aims to provide excellent tertiary, technical and vocational education to its students through commitment to transformative, affordable and quality learning systems. It aspires to become a world-class Institution that prepares industry-ready graduates geared to drive the economy nationally and globally.

Mister World 2024

On October 8, 2024, Gobuamang competed against six other Mister World Botswana 2024 finalists in Gaborone and won the title. On November 6, 2024, the KIC student traveled from Botswana to Sandton, South Africa to Vietnam.

Representing Botswana, Gobuamang finished first in the 5-kilometer race of Mister World 2024 in Vũng Tàu, Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu, Vietnam on November 17, 2024, which was part of the sports challenge of the international beauty pageant. On November 23, 2024, he and 59 other candidates competed in the coronation ceremony at NovaWorld in Phan Thiết, Bình Thuận, Vietnam.

Gobuamang was unplaced. He is the second Motswana beauty king to compete in Mister World.

On September 20, 1996, Felix Chavaphi represented Botswana in the inaugural edition of the international beauty pageant and competed against 49 other candidates at the Anadolu Auditorium in Şişli, Istanbul, Turkey. He was unplaced but he received the Mister Personality award.

Since March 2004, Chavaphi has been the chairman of the Energy Sytems Group in Gaborone. On October 25, 2025, he turned 56.
