South Korea will be represented at Mister Supranational 2026 by Kim Tae Woo, 28. It is the 10th edition of the international beauty pageant based in Poland.
Originally from Seoul, South Korea, Kim speaks Korean and English and stands 6’2″. He is an alumnus of Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, United States.
Ithaca is a tranquil, scenic college town nestled amid upstate New York’s gorges and waterfalls. The town’s rhythm is dictated by the academic calendars of Cornell University and Ithaca College.
Conversely, Seoul is a hyper-connected, sprawling megacity of over nine million people. The city blends futuristic skyscrapers and a 24-hour lifestyle with ancient Joseon-era palaces.
Mister International Korea 2025
On June 28, 2025, Lavigne Swann of France won Mister Supranational 2025 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sacz, Malopolska, Poland. He competed against 37 other candidates, including Lee Seung Chan of South Korea, who was unplaced.
On September 1, 2025, the Mister International Korea 2025 coronation ceremony was held at Crest 72 in Jung-gu, Seoul. It was the 13th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the country’s Mister International, Mister Global, Mister Supranational, Man of the World, Man of the Year, Mister Celebrity International, Mister Fitness Supermodel World and Mister Eco International candidates.
A total of 30 men competed for eight titles. These were the winners:
- Mister International Korea 2025: Choi Seungho (Seoul)
- Mister Global Korea 2025 / 1st runner-up: Eric Kang (California, United States)
- Mister Supranational Korea 2026 / 1st runner-up: Kim Taewoo (Seoul)
- Man of the World Korea 2026 / 2nd runner-up: Choi Joosung (Daejeon)
- Man of the Year Korea 2025 / 2nd runner-up: Kim Jun-hyuk (Seoul)
- 2nd runner-up: Oh Ji-seok (Daejeon)
- Mister Celebrity Korea 2025 / 3rd runner-up: Kim Jin -hyung (Seoul)
- Mister Fitness Supermodel Korea / 3rd runner-up: Lee Yong -seok (Incheon)
- Mister Eco Korea 2026: Na Hyeon-seok (Seoul)
Mister Supranational 2026
“I felt a lot of burden as I had a high goal with my cool classmates, but thanks to the strength given by my supporters, I was able to play the last stage with joy and I had a beautiful competition with my classmates without regrets,” Taewoo stated on September 4, 2025. “I will represent Korea in style at the world’s three most handsome contest, Mister Supranational.”
On May 23, 2026, Taewoo graduated from Cornell University. In December 2025, he visited Chicago, Illinois, USA; Singapore; Hong Kong, China and Macau, China.
On August 1, 2026, Taewoo will represent South Korea at Mister Supranational 2026 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sacz. The coronation ceremony will be broadcast live by Polsat.
