Venezuelan-American actor Tommy Martinez is in the cast of “Disclosure Day“, a science fiction thriller film directed and produced by Steven Spielberg. On June 2, 2026, the film premiered at Le Grand Rex in Paris, France.

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States, Spielberg turned 79 on December 18, 2025. Born in Venezuela, Martinez turned 34 on March 20, 2026.

In 1996, Martinez moved from Venezuela to the U.S. He grew up in a little suburb town in Florida, USA.

After dropping out of college in Tallahassee, Florida, Martinez moved to Los Angeles, California, USA to pursue a career in acting. Before he became a professional actor, he worked as a model for two years.

From 2017 to 2018, Martinez played Malachai in “Riverdale”, which aired on The CW from January 26, 2017 to August 23, 2023. From 2019 to 2024, he played Gael Martinez in “Good Trouble”, which aired on Freeform from January 8, 2019 to March 5, 2024.

Martinez played Georges St. Georges in “Hunters” Season 2 in 2023, Isaac Torres in “Laid” in 2024 and Albert Torres in “Bosch: Legacy” in 2025. He was in the cast of Justin Chadwick’s film “Brothers Under Fire”, which was filmed in Bogota, Colombia and released in the U.S. on March 13, 2026.

David Koepp wrote the screenplay of “Disclosure Day” based on a story by Spielberg. It is about a whistleblower cybersecurity specialist and an enlightened weatherwoman trying to expose decades of suppressed government data regarding alien contact.

Set against the backdrop of an impending global conflict, the film explores the high-stakes chase to unleash proof of extraterrestrial life to the entire world. It marks Spielberg’s thematic return to unidentified flying objects (UFOs), blending blockbuster conspiracy action with a deeply personal focus on the uniting power of truth.
