Kunda Mwamulima will represent Zambia in an international beauty pageant for the fifth time. She is an alumna of Northmead Secondary School and Levy Mwanawasa Medical University, which are both in Lusaka, Zambia, and Kalulushi High School in Kalulushi, Copperbelt Province, Zambia.

Before moving to Lusaka, Mwamulima grew up in Chamboli, Copperbelt Province. After father had to stop working in 2007, she moved to the house of her grandparents, who raised her until she graduated from the university.
Miss University Africa 2021
On December 19, 2021, Mwamulima represented Zambia at Miss University Africa 2021 at the Chida International Hotel Jabi in Abuja, Nigeria where she competed against 44 other candidates. Adar Yusuf Ibrahim of Somalia won the title.
Runner-up to Ibrahim was Yolenn Quibelo of Angola and the respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Ayen Monica of South Sudan, Mouketey Lynette Monalisa Jelly of Cameroon and Phionah Umwiza of Rwanda. Mwamulima was unplaced.
Top Model of the World 2023
On March 2, 2023, Mwamulima represented Zambia at Top Model of the World 2023 at the Sunrise White Hills Resort in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. She competed against 42 other candidates including Mariana Macias Ornelas of Mexico, who won the title.
Leicy Rivas Moreno of Colombia and Sadani Vishmitha Peiris of Sri Lanka were the first and second runners-up, respectively. Mwamulima finished in the Top 16.
Miss Earth 2023
On October 25, 2023, Mwamulima was crowned Miss Earth Zambia 2023. On December 22, 2023, she represented Zambia at Miss Earth 2023 at the Vạn Phúc City Water Music Square in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam where she competed against 84 other candidates including the eventual winner Drita Ziri of Albania.
Also crowned were Miss Earth-Air 2023 Yllana Aduana of the Philippines, Miss Earth-Water 2023 Do Thi Lan Anh of Vietnam and Miss Earth-Fire 2023 Cora Bliault of Thailand. Mwamulima was unplaced.
Miss Universe 2025
On April 20, 2025, Mwamulima represented Kalulushi at Miss Universe Zambia 2025 and competed against 19 other candidates at the Mulungushi International Conference Center in Lusaka, Zambia. She won the title.
On November 21, 2025, Mwamulima represented Zambia at Miss Universe 2025 at the Impact Challenger Hall in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, Thailand and was unplaced. She competed against 119 other candidates including Fatima Bosch of Mexico, who won the title, and the respective first, second, third and fourth runners-up Praveenar Singh of Thailand, Stephany Abasali of Venezuela, Ahtisa Manalo of the Philippines and Olivia Yace of Cote d’Ivoire.
Miss Cosmo 2026
On May 11, 2026, Mwamulima was officially appointed Miss Cosmo Zambia 2026. On July 19, 2026, she will turn 31.
In December 2026, Mwamulima will represent Zambia at Miss Cosmo 2026 in Vietnam. She is expected to compete against more than 70 other candidates including the following:
