Mister World Bolivia 2024 Mario Alejandro Chavez Ibáñez has yet to crown his successor. It has been more than a year since he represented his home country in the 11th edition of Mister World.
The 12th edition of the international beauty is expected to be held before 2027. Details about the date and venue of the coronation ceremony have yet to be finalized.
Mario Chavez
Since Chavez was young, he has been into modeling and has been traveling abroad. Hailing from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, a city commonly known as Santa Cruz, he is 6’3″ tall and he enjoys swimming and boxing.
Chavez is an alumnus of Colegio San Agustín in Santa Cruz. He visited Bonito, Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil in January 2016 and Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico in July 2016.
In September 2017, Chavez went to Texas, United States. In February 2019, he entered Universidad Nur in Santa Cruz.
While pursuing a bachelor’s degree in commercial engineering and working as a part-time model, Chavez applied to be Mister World Bolivia 2024. He had originally pursued a medical degree for two years before changing his major.
After a series of interviews in person and online, Promociones Gloria selected Chavez as the new titleholder. He was officially appointed on August 19, 2024.
On November 23, 2024, Chavez represented Bolivia at Mister World 2024 at NovaWorld in Phan Thiết, Bình Thuận, Vietnam where he competed against 59 other candidates including Daniel Mejia of Puerto Rico, who won the title. The Bolivian representative was unplaced.
On November 26, 2026, Chavez visited Istanbul, Turkiye. In November 2025, he traveled to Cancun again.
On December 6, 2025, Chavez’s sister Olga Andrea Chávez Ibañez turned 23. On April 8, 2026, he turned 27.
Olga Chavez
On June 29, 2024, Olga competed against 15 other Miss World Bolivia 2024 candidates at the Salón Sirionó de la FexpoCruz in Santa Cruz and won the title. The event was organized by Promociones Gloria and broadcast live in Bolivia by Red Uno.
On May 31, 2025, Olga represented Bolivia at Miss World 2025 and competed against 107 other candidates at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Suchata Chuangsri of Thailand won the title while the Bolivian representative was unplaced.
On June 13, 2026, Olga went back to the Salón Sirionó de la FexpoCruz where she served as a judge at Miss Santa Cruz 2026. The title was won by Bianca Ruiz Añez.
Olga was Miss Santa Cruz 2024. She was pursuing a bachelor’s degree in architecture while working as a model and a fashion designer when she won Miss World Bolivia 2024.
