American mixed martial artist Bo Dean Nickal, 30, is one of the “UFC Freedom 250” winners. He was born in Rifle, Colorado, United States but is fighting out of State College, Pennsylvania, USA.

Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, the Ultimate Fighting Championship held “UFC Freedom 250” on the South Lawn of the White House in Washington, D.C., USA on June 14, 2026. It made history as the first combat sports event to be held at the official residence and workplace of the president of the country.

There were seven matches on the card. The second bout of the evening was a middleweight contest between Nickal and Kyle Daukaus, 33, a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Jason Herzog served as the referee. After taking Daukaus down early and inflicting a cut from top control, Nickal was forced to stand back up by Herzog.

The reset did not slow Nickal’s momentum. The Rifle native soon unleashed a right hook and a follow-up left that floored Daukaus.

It was enought to seal the victory with a relentless stream of elbows and punches on the canvas. Herzog stopped the fight after 4 minutes and 34 seconds in the first round.

Nickal defeated Daukaus via technical knockout via punches and elbows. The loss downgraded the professional MMA record of the Philadelphia native to 17 wins and 5 losses.

This is Nickal’s sixth UFC win excluding his two Dana White’s Contender Series victories. He now has 9 wins and 1 loss.

When Nickal was young, he and his family moved from Rifle to Wyoming, USA to Rio Rancho, New Mexico, USA to Allen, Texas, USA. He attended Allen High School in Allen and Pennsylvania State University in University Park, Pennsylvania.

As a wrestler, Nickal competes in the light heavyweight division of Real American Freestyle. On June 3, 2022, he made his professional MMA debut in Richmond, Virginia, USA.

On March 4, 2023, Nickal made his official UFC debut in Paradise, Nevada. In the promotion, he defeated Jamie Pickett and Val Woodburn in 2023 and Cody Brundage, Paul Craig and Rodolfo Vieira in 2025.
