Bridget Katungi, 34, of Kazi District, Western Region, Uganda is competing in a beauty pageant again. She is one of the finalists of Miss Universe Uganda 2026.

Katungi is passionate about early childhood development because she believes that strong families create thriving communities. Through her work with children and vulnerable families, she advocates for emotional literacy, resilience, and positive parenting to help raise confident and empowered future generations.
A mother to a two-year-old boy, Katungi believes that when children are nurtured, communities flourish and futures are transformed. In her free time, she enjoys staying active through fitness and being creative through writing, dancing and singing.
On December 3, 2016, Katungi competed against seven other Miss Uganda UK 2016 finalists at the Ark Globe Academy in London, England, United Kingdom. She won the title.
Runner-up to Katungi was Latisha Antoine. The second runner-up was Vanessa Kaitesi.
