Portugal will be represented at Miss Grand International 2026 by Milena Fernandez Rabelo, 27. It is the 14th edition of the international beauty pageant based in Bangkok, Thailand.

Rabelo is a Portuguese-Brazilian lawyer and model from Lisbon, Portugal. She was born in Brazil to a Portuguese father and a Brazilian mother.

When Rabelo was young, she and her family moved from Brazil to Portugal. As a model, she walked the runway not only in home country but also in other countries including Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates.

While pursuing a career in fashion, Rabelo attended the University of Coimbra in Coimbra, Portugal. where she earned a degree in international law.

On February 12, 2025, Rabelo was crowned Miss Europe Portugal 2025. On January 18, 2026, she turned 27.

Rabelo attended the Dubai Polo Gold Cup, which was held at the Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club in Dubai, UAE from January 30, 2026 to February 14, 2026. On June 19, 2026, she was officially appointed Miss Grand Portugal 2026.

In October 2026, Rabelo will represent Portugal at Miss Grand International 2026 in India. This edition marks the returns of Honduras, Iran, Sierra Leone, South Sudan and Ukraine after skipping at least one edition.

Including Rabelo, more than 70 women are expected to compete for the title. Here are the other confirmed candidates:

Launched in 2013, Miss Grand International was founded by Nawat Itsaragrisil. He is a native of Damnoen Saduak, Ratchaburi, Thailand and an alumnus of the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce in Bangkok.

Both Teresa Yuphayao Chaivisut and Ratchaphol Chantaratim serve as vice presidents of the organization. The former is a Bangkok native and the latter was born in Samut Prakan, Thailand.

Sílvia Oliveira was unplaced when she represented Portugal in the 13th edition of Miss Grand International on October 18, 2025 at the MGI Hall in Bangkok. She competed against 76 other candidates including Emma Tiglao of the Philippines, who won the title.
