Canada will be represented at Miss World 2027 by Alexa Marie Begornia Grant, 26. It is the 74th edition of the international beauty pageant based in London, England, United Kingdom.
Alexa Grant
Hailing from Thornhill, Ontario, Canada, Grant is a financial tech consultant, a stage performer and a model. She can play six different musical instruments.
Grant was born in Canada to a Scottish father named Les Grant and a Filipino mother named Tess Begornia Grant. Alexa has a brother named Andrew Begornia Grant.
Alexa graduated from the Schulich School of Business in Toronto, Ontario with an honours bachelor’s degree in international business administration. She has been competing in beauty pageant since she was a teenager, having won the Miss Teen Philippines Canada 2018 title.
On November 13, 2022, Alexa competed against 49 other Miss World Canada 2022 candidates at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts in Richmond Hill, Ontario. She finished third and was crowned Miss Supranational Canada 2023.
On July 14, 2024, Alexa represented Canada at Miss Supranational 2023 and competed against 64 other candidates at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Małopolska, Poland. She was unplaced.
On August 17, 2025, Alexa competed against 20 other Miss World Canada 2025 candidates at The City Playhouse Theatre in Toronto, Ontario and won the title. These were the finalists:

- 1st runner-up: Aalanna Rusnak (sports challenge winner)
- 2nd runner-up: Alexandra Sinyanskiy

Alexa was crowned by Angelina Fan, who won Miss World Canada 2024 on August 10, 2024. On September 5, 2026, the latter will represent Canada at Miss World 2026 in Vietnam.
Miss World 2027
While preparing to represent Canada in an international beauty pageant again, Alexa has been actively participating in philanthropic activities. Recently, she worked with the Global Advocacy for Autism Awareness (GAFAA) and Zonta International to send aid to the people of General Santos City, Philippines, who were hit by the magnitude 7.8 earthquake on June 8, 2026.
On July 25, 2026, Alexa will turn 27. In 2027, she will travel to Tanzania to compete for the Miss World 2027 crown. This is the first time the African country is hosting the competition.
