Singapore will be represented at Miss International 2026 by Janessa Yang Jia Jing, 24. It is the 64th edition of the international beauty pageant based in Tokyo, Japan.
Yang is an alumna of the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) in Tampines, Singapore. Established on July 24, 2009, the university was founded by Thomas Lee Magnanti, an engineer born in Syracuse, New York, United States.
Janessa Yang
Yang is a cloud development engineer who enjoys yoga and pilates. She went to Raffles Girls’ School in Braddell, Singapore from 2015 to 2018 and Raffles Institution in Bishan, Singapore from 2019 to 2020.
From 2021 to 2025, Yang attended the SUTD. From January 2021 to June 2021, she was a part-time Starbucks barista.
In August 2022, Yang traveled to Seoul, South Korea. From November 2022 to December 2022, she was a freelance web developer at iMin Technology in Bishan and from January 2023 to July 2023, she continued as a part-time marketing intern.
From 2023 to 2024, Yang developed a personal fullstack coding project as a solo developer. From 2024 to 2025, she served as the frontend lead and Fullstack developer for an entrepreneurial capstone project.
From February 2023 to June 2023, Yang served as the frontend lead for the Service Design Studio project at SUTD. From January 2024 to August 2024, she completed a Fullstack coding internship at Egis Group in Kallang, Singapore.
On June 21, 2026, Yang competed against five other Miss International Singapore 2026 finalists at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel in Robertson Quay, Singapore. Here are the results:

On November 27, 2025, Catalian Duque represented Colombia at Miss International 2025 at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Shibuya, Tokyo and won the title. She competed against 79 other candidates including Tanisha Tan of Singapore, who was unplaced.
