Noura Raïssa Njikam, a native of Douala, Littoral Region, Cameroon, is set to represent her home country in an international beauty pageant again. She represented Cameroon in the 73rd edition of Miss Universe and will represent the country in the 73rd edition of Miss World.

As Cameroon’s largest city and chief port, Douala is the country’s economic powerhouse. Beyond its commercial dominance, the city is celebrated as the birthplace of Makossa—the infectious, bass-heavy music genre that took the global stage by storm in the 1970s and the 1980s.

Njikam advocates for education and empowerment for young girls and supports victims of violence. She is also an environmental advocate who promotes sustainability and environmental conservation in Cameroon.

Currently, Njikam is based in North Region, Cameroon. She is attended the Collège Bilingue Charles et Thérèse Mbakop and the Faculte de Sciences Juridiques et Politiques (FSJP) of the University of Yaoundé II, which are both in Yaoundé, Centre Region, Cameroon.

On September 17, 2023, Njikam was crowned Miss Nord Cameroun 2024. On September 23, 2023, she attended the Mister World Cameroon 2023 coronation ceremony at Best Western Plus Soaho Douala Airport Hotel in Douala.

On November 18, 2023, Ndoun Issie Marie Princesse represented Cameroon at Miss Universe 2023 and competed against 83 other candidates at the Gimnasio Nacional José Adolfo Pineda in San Salvador, El Salvador. She finished in the Top 20, making her the first beauty queen from Cameroon to place in Miss Universe.

On June 28, 2024, Njikam competed against 25 other candidates at Miss Cameroun 2024 at the Yaounde Multipurpose Sports Complex in Yaoundé. She won the title and was crowned by Princesse.

On November 16, 2024, Njikam represented Cameroon at Miss Universe 2024 and competed against 124 other candidates at the Arena Cuidad de Mexico in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City. She was unplaced.

On August 12, 2024, Princesse was appointed Miss World Cameroon 2025. On May 31, 2025, she represented Cameroon at Miss World 2025, competed against 107 other candidates at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad, Telangana, India and finished in the Top 20.

On July 12, 2025, Njikam attended the Miss Cameroun 2025 coronation ceremony at the Palais des Congrès in Yaoundé. Her successor Harangada Golonga was crowned by Chantal Biya.

On October 9, 2025, Njikam was appointed Miss World Cameroon 2026 and on October 13, 2025, she turned 26. In June 2026, she carried out a humanitarian initiative in Garoua, North Region as part of her ongoing Beauty With a Purpose project.

From August 9, 2026 to September 5, 2026, Njikam will be in Vietnam to compete for the Miss World 2026 crown. Among her fellow African candidates are:
