Wei Zihong is originally from Chengdu, Sichuan, China. He represented the country in the 11th edition of Mister World and Hong Kong, China in the ninth edition of Mister Supranational.
As a global financial hub, Hong Kong is defined by its verticality, where skyscrapers press against Victoria Harbour and a fast-paced, Anglo-Chinese energy drives daily life. In contrast, Chengdu embraces a famously relaxed pace centered around historic teahouses, vibrant street food, and panda conservation.
While Hong Kong thrives on maritime trade and international finance, Chengdu is an inland megacity anchoring western China’s tech and cultural booms. Together, they illustrate the country’s vast diversity: one a hyper-connected global gateway, the other a culturally rich, culinary capital.
Wei Zihong
Wei is 6’2″ tall and he speaks Chinese and English. He holds a bachelor’s degree in physical culture and sports.
A fitness advocate, Wei loves swimming, football and basketball. On October 27, 2024, Wei won Mister World China 2024 in Leishan, Guizhou, China.
On July 9, 2025, Wei served as a judge at Miss Grand Macau 2025 at the Haiya Mega Mall in Shenzhen, China. On December 16, 2025, he was a special guest at Manhunt Vietnam 2025 at the Kim Center Convention Center in Dong Nai, Vietnam.
On December 20, 2025, Wei attended the Miss Cosmo 2025 coronation ceremony at the Creative Park in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. On May 30, 2026, he and Mister United National Hong Kong 2025 Piter Wang attended the coronation ceremony of the first edition of Miss Grand International (MGI) All Stars at the MGI Hall in Bangkok, Thailand.
Mister World 2024
Before becoming a beauty king, Wei was overweight. While competing at Mister World 2024, he said he considered parachuting as the extremest thing he had ever done.
On November 23, 2024, Wei represented China at Mister World 2024 and competed against 59 other candidates at NovaWorld in Phan Thiết, Bình Thuận, Vietnam. He was unplaced.
Mister World 1998 Sandro Finoglio hosted the coronation ceremony with Lương Thùy Linh. These were the winners:

Mister Supranational 2025
On May 20, 2025, Wei was appointed Mister Supranational Hong Kong 2025. On June 28, 2025, he represented Hong Kong at Mister Supranational 2025, competed against 38 other candidates at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sacz, Malopolska, Poland and finished in the Top 20.
Davina Reeves, Nico Panagio, Aleksander Sikora, Luis Portelles and Dani Walker hosted the coronation ceremony. These were the winners:

- 1st runner-up: Zuemerik Veeris (Curacao)
- 2nd runner-up: Mauricio Calvo (Mexico)
- 3rd runner-up: Michael Mazi-Michael (Nigeria)
