Indira Ampiot of Guadeloupe, France represented the country in the 73rd edition of Miss Universe. She will represent the country in the 73rd edition of Miss World.

Born in Basse-Terre, Guadeloupe, France, Ampiot is four years younger than her brother Brice Ampiot. Their parents Didier Ampiot and Béatrice Téjou are divorced.

Didier owns a communications and marketing agency. He is French while Tejou is of Indian descent.

Tejou works in the social security sector. She is Miss Basse-Terre 1998 and was runner-up to Miss Guadeloupe 1998 Suzanne Galin.

On January 8, 2022, Indira was crowned Miss Basse-Terre 2022. On July 26, 2022, she represented Basse-Terre at Miss Guadeloupe 2022, competed against nine other candidates at Royal Riviera in Le Gosier, Guadeloupe and won the title.

On December 17, 2022, Indira represented Guadeloupe at Miss France 2023 and competed against 29 other candidates at M.A.CH 36 in Châteauroux, Centre-Val de Loire, France. She won the title.

On July 19, 2023, Indira crowned her successor Miss Guadeloupe 2023 Jalylane Maës at the Palais des Sports du Gosier in Le Gosier. On December 16, 2023, the former crowned her successor Miss France 2024 Eve Gilles at the Zénith de Dijon in Dijon, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, France.

On November 16, 2024, Indira represented France at Miss Universe 2024 and competed against 124 other candidates at the  Arena Ciudad de México (Arena CDMX) in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City, Mexico. She finished in the Top 30.

Olivia Culpo and Mario Lopez hosted the coronation ceremony with Catriona Gray and Zuri Hall. These were the winner and her runners-up:

  • Miss Universe 2024: Victoria Kjær Theilvig (Denmark)
  • 1st runner-up: Chidimma Adetshina (Nigeria)
  • 2nd runner-up: Fernanda Beltran (Mexico)
  • 3rd runner-up: Suchata Chuangsri (Thailand)
  • 4th runner-up: Ileana Marquez (Venezuela)

On April 22, 2025, Chuangsri was officially appointed Miss World Thailand 2025 and was dethroned as Miss Universe 2024 third runner-up. On May 31, 2025, she represented Thailand at Miss World 2025, competed against 107 other candidates at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad, Telangana, India and won the title.

On September 19, 2025, Indira turned 21. On May 17, 2026, she was appointed Miss World France 2026.

On September 5, 2026, Indira will represent France at Miss World 2026 in Vietnam. It is the 73rd edition of the international beauty pageant based in London, England, United Kingdom.
