Sri Lanka will be represented at Mister Supranational 2026 by Demitha Jayawardena, 20. It is the 10th edition of the international beauty pageant based in Poland.

Originally from Wattala, Sri Lanka, Jayawardena is an entrepreneur, a racer and a naturalist. He is an alumnus of St Peter’s College and Wycherley International School, which are both in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Jayawardena grew up as a motocross rider from the age of four. He continued until he was 13 when thirteen an injury forced him to stop.

Currently, Jayawardena is a sophomore student of Royal Institute Campus in Kohuwala, Nugegoda, Sri Lanka where he is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in management in digital innovation. For him, one of the greatest challenges of his life is balancing entrepreneurship, motocross, personal development, and beauty pageant preparation.

On January 29, 2026, Jayawardena was appointed Mister Supranational Sri Lanka 2026 at Temple Trees, the official residence of the prime minister of Sri Lanka. In March 2026, he and Lions Club – Sri Lanka went to the HelpAge Sri Lanka Eye Hospital in Colombo where they donated 25 contact lenses distributed 150 morning snacks.

On June 27, 2026, Jayawardena and Mister International Egypt 2025 Mohamed Basla had a meeting in Colombo. The former and Miss Supranational Sri Lanka 2026 Sandeepa Sewmini graced the June 28, 2026 issue of The Sunday Morning Happinez, a magazine in their home country.

Erusha Gimshan was supposed to represent Sri Lanka at Mister Supranational 2025 but he withdrew from the competition before the coronation ceremony at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sacz, Malopolska, Poland on June 28, 2025. The title was won by Lavigne Swann of France, who competed against 37 other candidates.

On August 1, 2026, Swann will go back to the same venue to crown her successor. The coronation ceremony will be broadcast live by Polsat.
