Michael Alejandro Gómez Ventura represented the Dominican Republic in the eighth edition of Mister Global. He will represent the country in the sixth edition of Caballero Universal.
Michael Gomez
Nicknamed Cuadrito, Gomez is a marketer, a physiotherapist, an athlete, a model and personal trainer specializing in prenatal and senior fitness. A Central American bodybuilding champion, he was the only athlete from the Dominican Republic to compete in bodybuilding in the 2019 Pan American Games, which was held in Lima, Peru from July 26, 2019 to August 11, 2019.
Gomez is the founder of Embarazadas Fit, an initiative that promotes safe physical activity during pregnancy and has already impacted more than 5,000 women through workouts, talks, events, and activities focused on physical and emotional well-being. On May 24, 2026, he released a song titled “Este es Mi Cuerpo”.
Mister Global 2022
On February 11, 2023, Gomez represented the Dominican Republic at Mister Global 2022 and competed against 38 other candidates at the Royal Park Rajapruek in Chiang Mai, Thailand. He was unplaced.
Arthit Mek-Arkart and Kuntida Muntrikaeo hosted the coronation ceremony. These were the winner, the runners-up and the finalists:

Caballero Universal 2026
On October 11, 2025, Oscar del Rosario represented the Dominican Republic at Caballero Universal 2025 and competed against 23 other candidates at the Teatro Nacional de Caracas in Caracas, Venezuela. He finished in the Top 15.
Caballero Universal 2024 Jeremy Ste-Marie hosted the coronation ceremony with Henrys Silva and Vanessa Maradona. These were the winner and the runners-up:
- Caballero Universal 2025: Franco Daniel Cova (Venezuela)
- Vice Caballero Universal 2025: Israel Jesús Da Silva (Brazil)
- 1st runner-up: Luca Scandolara (Italy)
- 2nd runner-up: Anantha Krishna (India)
- 3rd runner-up: Marnny Lampa (Philippines)
- 4th runner-up: Luis Fernández Dávila (Peru)
On March 21, 2026, Gomez attended the Mister International Dominican Republic 2026 coronation ceremony at the RTVD Canal 4 studio in Villa Consuelo, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic where he was officially appointed Caballero Universal Dominican Republic 2026. The Mister International Dominican Republic 2026 title was won by Ruddy Alexander Taveras Vásquez.
On November 17, 2026, Cova will crown his successor in Venezuela. The specific venue of the coronation ceremony has yet to be finalized.
