Raúl Ortiz, 29, will represent Alicante, Valencian Community, Spain at Mister Reinado Nacional de Belleza (RNB) España 2026 at the Teatre Auditori de Salou in Salou, Tarragona, Catalonia, Spain on October 24, 2026. Three winners will be crowned as the country’s representatives to the 2027 editions of Mister Supranational, Mister International and Mister Global.
Including Ortiz, 52 men will compete for the three titles at stake. His fellow candidates from the Valencian Community are Mario Izquierdo, 27, of Castellon and Carlos Salvador, 24, of Valencia.
Raúl Ortiz
Hailing from Denia, Alicante, Ortiz speaks Valencian, Italian and English. He is a firefighter with a higher vocational training in occupational risk prevention and an intermediate vocational training in emergencies and civil protection.
Ortiz is 6’3″ tall. He enjoys reading and volunteering and he is into mountain sports.
When Ortiz was asked about the men who inspire him, he mentioned his father, Rafael “Rafa” Nadal, and Victor Küppers. According to the reigning Mister RNB Alicante 2026, his father taught him how to be polite, to have compassion and to not give up on the goals he set for himself until he achieves them.
Meanwhile, Nadal’s legendary career provided a blueprint for resilience. Describing the tennis legend, the firefighter said, “I’m struck by the composure and mental strength he’s shown in the face of adversity, not only on the court but also off it, and that speaks volumes about his character. Thanks to that, I approach every challenge with a similar attitude.”
For Ortiz, attitude is everything when navigating life’s obstacles. That is why he is a firm believer in Küppers’s formula (C + H) × A = V. In this formula, a person’s value (V) is determined by adding his or her conocimientos (C) or knowledge and habilidades (H) or skills and multiplying that sum by his or her actitud (A) or attitude.
Rafa Nadal
Nadal was born and raised in Manacor on the sun-drenched Mediterranean island of Mallorca, Balearic Islands, Spain. His historic tennis career is deeply intertwined with his Spanish identity. His journey from a local prodigy to a global phenomenon reflects the cultural values of family, humility, and raw passion that defined his upbringing.
Over a professional career that culminated in his late 2024 retirement, Nadal captured an astonishing 22 Grand Slam men’s singles titles. Most notably, he earned the title King of Clay by dominating Roland Garros with an unprecedented 14 French Open championships. Alongside Nadal’s individual triumphs, he consistently prioritized representing his country on the international stage, leading Spain to five Davis Cup titles and securing two Olympic gold medals.
What sets Nadal apart is a playing style that mirrors the traditional Spanish grit. Raised on the red clay courts of Europe under the strict, loving guidance of his uncle Toni Nadal, Rafa developed a heavy topspin forehand and an unmatched defensive resilience. Every grueling rally he fought through felt like an extension of furia española—a relentless refusal to give up on a single point.
Despite achieving astronomical fame and massive global wealth, Rafa chose to remain in Mallorca, training local youth at his academy and assisting his community during regional crises. He stands not just as one of the greatest athletes to ever pick up a racket, but as an enduring national treasure who carried the pride, values, and unrelenting spirit of Spain to the very pinnacle of sports history.
Victor Küppers
Küppers is deeply tied to Spain, where he raised his family and established his brilliant career. He was born in Eindhoven, North Brabant, Netherlands to a Dutch father and Spanish father.
What truly anchors Küppers’ widespread acclaim is his ability to blend rigorous academic frameworks with the organic warmth, humor, and passion characteristic of his Spanish cultural environment. He has become one of the most beloved and viral motivational figures in the Spanish-speaking world. His extraordinary success stems from a singular, powerful premise: talent and knowledge are essential, but attitude is the ultimate multiplier.
Küppers’ bestselling books, such as “Vivir la vida con sentido”, have sold hundreds of thousands of copies, proving that his message transcends corporate walls. Ultimately, his success lies in teaching people how to stop rushing through life like “headless chickens.” He inspires millions to reclaim their enthusiasm, lead with kindness, and embrace a life driven by passion.
The Dutch-Spanish motivational speaker and author holds a PhD in humanities and teaching at prestigious institutions like the University of Barcelona and the Instituto de Estudios Superiores de la Empresa (IESE) Business School in Barcelona, Spain. Yet, when he steps onto a stage, he strips away dense corporate jargon. He uses relatable language and a vibrant, engaging demeanor to connect with audiences on a profoundly human level.
