Araba, Basque County, Spain will be represented at Mister Reinado Nacional de Belleza (RNB) España 2026 by Adrián Morente Lorenzo, 31. It is the sixth edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the Mister Supranational, Mister International and Mister Global candidates of the country.

Morente is from Vitoria-Gasteiz, the capital city of Araba. In 2012, the city made history as the first Spanish municipality to be awarded the title of European Green Capital.

Aside from completing Educación Secundaria Obligatoria (ESO), Morente also competed a first aid course, a swimming instructor course and a basic nutrition course.

Currently, Morente works as an airport logistics worker, a ramp agent and a metalworker. He is 6’1″ tall, he is into fitness and he enjoys playing basketball and reading materials about personal development.

The values Morente strive to apply in his life are inspired by Seneca and Epictetus, two of the most influential philosophers of Stoicism. This ancient Greek and Roman philosophy focused on mastering emotions, focusing on what you can control, and living a life of virtue and resilience.

“From Seneca, I value self-control and the importance of living with consistency and temperance,” Morente shared. “From Epictetus, I value inner freedom and the idea that, while we cannot always control what happens, we can control our attitude.”

Araba is landlocked, offering a distinct landscape characterized by fertile plains, rolling hills, and dramatic mountain ranges. At its heart lies the vibrant provincial capital of Vitoria-Gasteiz, which is widely celebrated for its exceptionally high quality of life, beautifully preserved medieval old town, and vast network of urban parks that earned it the title of European Green Capital.

Historically, Araba has served as a strategic crossroads connecting central Spain with the rest of Europe, leaving behind a rich architectural heritage of ancient dolmens, fortresses, and Romanesque churches. Economically and culturally, the province is perhaps most famous for its southern enclave, the Rioja Alavesa. Here, sheltered by the Cantabrian Mountains, sun-drenched vineyards produce some of the world’s finest, most prestigious Rioja wines. From the industrial innovation and green urbanism of Vitoria-Gasteiz to the historic, medieval walled towns and rolling vineyards of its wine country, Araba beautifully blends deep Basque traditions, environmental sustainability, and timeless rural charm.

On October 24, 2026, Morente will represent Araba at Mister RNB España 2026 at the Teatre Auditori de Salou in Salou, Tarragona, Spain. Three winners will be crowned as the country’s representatives to the 2027 editions of Mister Supranational, Mister International and Mister Global.
