Thailand will be represented at Mister Cosmo 2026 by Patrick Pho-ngam Forstner, 32. It is the inaugural edition of the international beauty pageant founded by UniMedia, a company based in Vietnam.
This is the second time Forstner is representing Thailand in an international beauty pageant. He was the country’s representative in the 10th edition of Mister Global.
From Vienna to Bangkok
Currently, Forstner is based in Bangkok, Thailand. He is an ice hockey player, an actor and a model born in Vienna, Austria to an Austrian father named Ernst Forstner and a Thai mother.
From 2017 to 2018, Patrick played in the Siam Hockey League as a substitute player. He played for the team TRUE from 2018 to 2019, the Siam Hockey League team PEAK Biolabs from 2019 to 2020, the team KCG from 2020 to 2021 and from 2023 to 2024 and the Siam Hockey League team Aware in 2022.
Before moving to Bangkok, Patrick lived in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada and Udon Thani, Thailand. He is an alumnus of Leo Hayes High School in Fredericton, Borg 20 Für Leistungssport in Vienna and Universität Wien in Vienna.
Known as a city that feels polished, safe and deeply rooted in tradition, Vienna is defined by its unhurried elegance, characterized by monumental cream-colored facades, historic coffee-house culture and world-class classical music. Travelers to the Austrian capital can spend their days exploring opulent palaces like Schönbrunn or enjoying the refined atmosphere of the State Opera.
In contrast, Bangkok is an energetic metropolis where golden temples stand alongside bustling night markets. Known for its incredible street food scene and warm hospitality, it offers a more sensory-rich and fast-paced environment. While Vienna is often considered a higher-spend destination with a focus on historical preservation, Bangkok is celebrated for its affordability and vibrant nightlife.
Mister Global 2024
On May 26, 2024, Patrick competed against 27 other Mister Global Thailand 2024 candidates at the MCC Hall of The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan in Mueang Nonthaburi District, Nonthaburi, Thailand. He won the title.
On October 6, 2024, Patrick represented Thailand at Mister Global 2024 and competed against 31 other candidates at the MCC Hall The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi in Bangkok. He was third runner-up to Dom Corilla of the Philippines.
On February 21, 2026, Patrick turned 33. On July 12, 2026, he attended the Mister Global 2026 coronation ceremony at the MCC Hall of The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan where he was appointed Mister Cosmo Thailand 2026.
Mister Cosmo 2026
Tran Viet Bao Hoang is the founder of UniMedia. The same company launched Miss Cosmo in 2024.
Miss Cosmo 2024 first runner-up Mook Karnruethai Tassabut is the deputy head of Mister Cosmo. The competition will judge its candidates based on physical energy, aesthetic and fashion sense, inspirational lifestyle and leadership spirit.
The date and venue of the Mister Cosmo 2026 coronation ceremony have yet to be finalized. Among Forstner’s fellow candidates are:
