Shaivi Baidjnath Misier, 18, will represent the Netherlands at Miss Charm 2026. It is the fourth edition of the international beauty pageant based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Miss Nederland 2026
On June 27, 2026, a total of 19 Miss Nederland 2026 candidates competed for three crowns at Studio 21 in Hilversum, Netherlands. These were the winners and her runners-up:
- Miss Universe Netherlands 2026: Melissa Bottema (Groningen)
- Miss Earth Netherlands 2026: Lotte Marie van de Sande (Utrecht)
- Miss Teen of the Netherlands 2026: Maila van Veen (Flevoland)
- 1st runner-up: Shaivi Misier (Zuid-Holland)
- 2nd runner-up: Bibie Adjiembaks (Noord-Holland)
- 3rd runner-up: Christianne Ramos (Randstad)
- 4th runner-up: Sharifa Serwaa (Dutch Caribbean)
Miss Charm 2026
On December 12, 2025, Anna Blanco represented Venezuela at Miss Charm 2025, competed against 33 other candidates at the BHD Studio in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and won the title. Runner-uo to Blanco was Luisa Waltz of Germany and the second runner-up was Rinanda Maharani of Indonesia.
On June 28, 2026, Misier was officially appointed as Miss Charm Netherlands 2026. In December 2026, Blanco will go back to Ho Chi Minh City to crown her successor.

From Hometown to Ho Chi Minh City
While working as a model and a hostess, Misier is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She hails from Barendrecht, a quiet municipality South Holland, Netherlands.
Barendrecht contrasts sharply with the bustling metropolis of Ho Chi Minh City but both serve as vital regional economic hubs defined by their unique geography and infrastructure. They demonstrate how different scales of urban development handle global trade, logistics, and economic growth.
Located just south of Rotterdam, Barendrecht is a primary logistics center for Europe. It accommodates one of the largest fruit and vegetable trade parks on the continent, utilizing advanced transport links to distribute fresh produce globally. The town prioritizes orderly suburban living, modern infrastructure, and efficient land management, balancing massive commercial trade with high-quality residential spaces.
Meanwhile, Ho Chi Minh City stands as Vietnam’s financial locomotive. Formerly known as Saigon, this vibrant metropolis drives national commerce through rapid urbanization, manufacturing, and tech innovation.
