On the other hand, Williams now has 2 wins and 2 losses. He is 6′ 4½″ tall.
The boxer from York is 6’6″ tall. He is co-managed by former International Boxing Federation (IBF) flyweight titleholder Sunny Edwards.
This is Atang’s first professional boxing bout in the U.S. In an interview with DAZN Boxing, he said, “It was unreal.”
“Everything I’ve wanted from it, you know, the buildup to the fight,” Atang continued. “LA is lovely. I love looking around and I’ll definitely be looking around more but the fight as well, you know, all you Americans you’re tough. So it was hard to get him out of there but we ended up getting it in the end.”
From York to Carson
On January 28, 2026, Atang turned 19. He was born and raised in York.
Stepping into York feels like walking through a living history book. Founded by the Romans in 71 AD, this ancient walled city is anchored by the majestic York Minster and a maze of medieval cobblestone streets like the Shambles. Its atmosphere is defined by centuries of stories, gothic architecture, and a distinctly cozy, historic English charm.
Cross the Atlantic and fast-forward a few millennia, and you land in Carson,. Incorporated in 1968, this vibrant Los Angeles suburb is a hub of modern energy, industry, and diverse culture. Known as the home of the Dignity Health Sports Park—where Major League Soccer’s LA Galaxy play—and California State University, Dominguez Hills, Carson trades medieval history for year-round Pacific sunshine and suburban sprawl.
While York draws millions of travelers seeking tea rooms and Viking history, Carson attracts people looking for sports, education, and access to Southern California’s economic engine. One city preserves the echoes of the ancient past, while the other leans entirely into the fast-paced momentum of modern American life. They are two completely different worlds, each captivating in its own unique way.
