Keitty Familia, 19, will represent the Dominican Republic at Miss Grand International 2026 in India. It is the 14th edition of the international beauty pageant based in Bangkok, Thailand.

This is not the first time Familia is representing the Dominican Republic in an international beauty pageant. She was the country’s representative in the 22nd edition of The Miss Globe.

Familia is a television host from Monte Plata, one of the 31 provinces of the Dominican Republic. On May 3, 2025, she represented the province at Miss Grand Republica Dominicana 2025 and competed against 27 other candidates at Teatro La Fiestaat the Renaissance Santo Domingo Jaragua Hotel and Casino in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Mister Supranational Dominican Republic 2024 Bray Vargas and Miss Universe 2022 second runner-up Andreina Martinez hosted the coronation ceremony. These were the winner and her runners-up:

  • Miss Grand Republica Dominicana 2025: Madelyn Mejia (Peravia)
  • 1st runner-up: Anna Alvarado (Hermanas Mirabal)
  • 2nd runner-up: Keitty Familia (Monte Plata)
  • 3rd runner-up: Diana Laiz (Puerto Plata)
  • 4th runner-up: Annerys Lisbeth López (Santo Domingo Norte)

On October 15, 2025, Familia represented the Dominican Republic at The Miss Globe 2025 and competed against 50 other candidates at The Palace of Congresses in Tirana, Albania. Miss Earth 2023 Drita Ziri of Albania and The Miss Globe 2021 Maureen Montagne of the Philippines hosted the coronation ceremony.

Familia finished in the Top 11. These were the winner and the runners-up:

  • The Miss Globe 2025: Chayathanus Saradatta (Thailand)
  • 1st runner-up: Valentina Gegprifti (Albania)
  • 2nd runner-up: Samantha Sarelli (United States)
  • 3rd runner-up: Jolien Pede (Belgium)
  • 4th runner-up: Jennifer Chang (Cuba)

On October 18, 2025, Mejía represented the Dominican at Miss Grand International 2025 at the MGI Hall in Bangkok. She competed against 76 other candidates including Emma Tiglao of the Philippines, who won the title.

Runner-up to Tiglao was Sarunrat Puagpipat of Thailand and the respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Aitana Jimenez of Spain, Faith Maria Porter of Ghana and Nariman Battikha of Venezuela. Mejia finished in the Top 23.

Markéta Mörwicková of the Czech Republic, Laura Ramos of Colombia, Ana-Sofía Lendl of Guatemala, Montserrat Villalva of Mexico and Beatrice Alex Akyoo of Tanzania finished in the Top 10. They shared the fifth runner-up distinction.

On July 18, 2026, Familia won Miss Grand Republica Dominicana 2026 at the  Gran Teatro del Cibao in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic. In October 2026, Tiglao will crown her successor in India.

Including Familia, more than 70 women will compete for the Miss Grand International 2026 crown. Among her fellow candidates are:
