Sweden is making a comeback in Mister Supranational. Founded by Gerhard Parzutka Von Lipinski in 2016, it is an international beauty pageant based in Poland.

In the 10th edition of the competition, Sweden will be represented by Benjamin From, 22, a student of Stockholm University, which is in the country’s capital city. The country did not participate from the second to the ninth editions of the contest.

In the inaugural edition, Ali Ghafori represented the country, competed against 36 other candidates and finished in the Top 20. The coronation ceremony was held at the Miejski Osrodek Sportu i Rekreacji (MOSIR) in Krynica-Zdrój, Poland on December 3, 2016.

On June 28, 2025, Swann Lavigne represented France at Mister Supranational 2025 and competed against 37 other candidates at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Małopolska, Poland. He won the title.

On August 1, 2026, Lavigne will go back to the same venue to crown his successor. Hosted by Mister Supranational 2024 Fezile Mkhize of South Africa and Ida Nowakowska of Poland, the coronation ceremony will feature performances by FiśBanda, Mateusz Ziółko, Oktavvia and Tatiana Okupnik.

Including From, a total of 41 men will compete for the Mister Supranational 2026 title. Here are his fellow candidates from Europe:

  1. Quinten Taelman, 25, Belgium
  2. Daniel Zedníček, 31, Czech Republic
  3. Dimitri Chatelain, 21, France
  4. Glenn Williamson, 31, Ireland
  5. Wayne Buhagiar, 23, Malta

  7. Bartosz Gwiazda, 25, Poland
  8. Alexandru Șuțan, 20, Romania
  9. Pedro Cordero, 23, Spain

Hailing from Stockholm, From is an only child. He enjoys playing football and he loves traveling.

“Being an only child has not just taught me to take care of myself, it has also taught me that I need to be social and communicate with a lot of people,” From shared. “For example, when me and my parents were traveling when I was younger, I had no siblings so I was like, ‘Who should I hang out with?’ So when we were at the beach, I always was forced to approach similar guys playing football or volleyball or anything, just to hang out.”

According to From, as an only child, he learned to speak to people and to communicate, otherwise, he will not experience as much. He said, “You won’t experience as much if you don’t talk to a lot of people so that has taught me a lot—that being alone forces you to enhance your social skills and develop your network.”

Currently, From is pursuing a bachelor’s degree human resources at Stockholm University. Founded in 1878 as a progressive alternative to traditional academia, it is one of Scandinavia’s premier institutions for higher education and world-class research.
