Glenn Williamson, 31, was officially sashed as the Mister Supranational 2026 representative of Ireland on July 21, 2026. The sashing ceremony was held at Hotel Krakow in Krakow, Poland.
In Williamson’s acceptance speech, he shared a compelling personal callback. During the previous year’s competition, he had to withdraw early due to a sudden, severe illness.
Williamson explained that overcoming that setback taught him valuable lessons in patience, resilience, and gratitude. This makes his return to the stage stronger and more appreciative of every moment.
If Williamson wins Mister Supranational 2026, he will be the pageant’s first Irish winner. The title was won by Diego Garcy of Mexico in 2016, Gabriel Correa of Venezuela in 2017, Prathamesh Maulingkar of India in 2018, Nate Crnkovich of the United States in 2019, Varo Vargas of Peru in 2021, Luis Daniel Galvez of Cuba in 2022, Ivan Alvarez Guedes of Spain in 2023, Fezile Mkhize of South Africa in 2024 and Swann Lavigne of France in 2025.
