The United States will be represented at Miss World 2026 by Mary Sickler, 23. This is the 73rd edition of the international beauty pageant based in London, England, United Kingdom.
Mary Sickler
Sickler is a beauty pageant veteran originally from Houston, Texas, USA. Aside from Texas, she has lived in other U.S. states including Nebraska, Nevada and New York.
On July 27, 2025, Sickler competed against 20 other Miss Nevada USA 2025 candidates at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada and won the title. On October 24, 2025, she represented Nevada at Miss USA 2025 and competed against 50 other candidates at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada.
Sickler was fourth runner-up to Audrey Eckert of Nebraska. On November 21, 2025, the latter represented the U.S. at Miss Universe 2025, competed against 117 other candidates at the Impact Challenger Hall in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, Thailand and finished in the Top 30.
Miss World America 2026
On July 11, 2026, Jade Lin Glab of Belmar, New Jersey, USA won Miss World America 2026 in Seattle, Washington, USA. She competed against 13 other candidates including Sickler.
Representing New York, Sickler was the first runner-up. The respective second, third, fourth and fifth runners-up were Kimberly Chinomso of Washington, Victoria Kamila Valdez Ortegón of Texas, Naima Diamond Oryem of Maine and Veronica Ramirez Ramsay of Connecticut.
On July 22, 2026, the Miss World America organization announced Sickler as the Miss World 2026 candidate of the U.S. On the same day, Glab was appointed Miss World America 2027.
On September 5, 2026, Sickler will represent the U.S. at Miss World 2026 in Nha Trang, Vietnam. She will compete against 110 other candidates including Grace Richardson, 19, of England, Julia Kühnle, 26, of Germany, Cassandra García, 23, of Mexico, Latricia Ian Sawe, 24, of Tanzania, Kanteera Techaphattanakul, 25, of Thailand and Bảo Ngọc Lê Nguyễn, 25, of Vietnam.
Glab will represent the U.S. at Miss World 2027 in Tanzania. She is expected to compete against more than 110 other candidates including Phương Oanh Phan, 23, of Vietnam.
From Houston to Nha Trang
Currently, Sickler is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in health sciences at Will Rice College in Houston. She has visited several countries including Austria, England, Germany and Mexico and she has never visited Vietnam before Miss World 2026.
