Álvaro Andrés Flores Carvajal, 25, has been officially sashed as Chile’s Mister Supranational 2026 representative. He and his fellow candidates received their respective sashes from the reigning Mister Supranational 2025 Swann Lavigne, 26, of France, who was accompanied by the reigning Miss Supranational 2025 Eduarda da Silva Braum, 25, of Brazil.
In Flores’s speech, he expressed his pride in coming from Chile. He highlighted his passion for the arts and how he stays active through sports. He then ended on a lighthearted, hospitable note by telling viewers that if they ever wanted to visit Chile to explore its nature and culture, they could reach out to him and he would provide a place for them to stay.
The sashing ceremony was held at Hotel Krakow in Krakow, Poland on July 21, 2026. The city is around 108 kilometers away from Nowy Sacz, Malopolska, Poland.
Alvaro Flores
Originally from Machalí, Cachapoal Province, O’Higgins Region, Chile, Flores is an actor, a singer and a model currently based in the Philippines. He attended Colegio Inglés Saint John in Rancagua, Cachapoal Province and studied acting at the Academia de Fernando González in Santiago, Chile.
“After four years of acting and theater training, I’ve learned that success is not measured by applause, but by the lives we inspire,” Flores shared. “Through music, dance, sports, and the arts, I’ve learned discipline, resilience, and the importance of human connection.”
For Flores, being aspirational means having the courage to dream bigger, work harder and become the best version of yourself. He looks forward to connecting with people from different cultures, sharing his advocacy and learning from inspiring individuals at Mister Supranational 2026.
“Pursuing my dreams led me beyond my homeland in search of new opportunities and new horizons,” Flores shared. “Wherever I go, I carry one mission: to spread kindness, create happiness, and make a positive impact on people’s lives.”

From Machali to Nowy Sacz
Despite sitting over 7,000 miles apart, Machalí and Nowy Sącz share a common thread: both thrive at the foothills of major mountain ranges, serving as cultural hubs deeply connected to their natural landscapes.
Machalí rests in the shadows of the Andes. Spanning 2,586 square kilometers, it is famous for its proximity to the vast Río Cipreses National Reserve and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)-listed ghost town of Sewell—a historical copper mining encampment built steep on the Andean slopes.
Founded in 1292 by King Wenceslaus II at the confluence of the Dunajec and Kamienica rivers, Nowy Sącz is one of the oldest cities in Poland. Tucked into the Sądecka Valley and framed by the Beskid Sądecki range, the city is rich in architectural heritage, featuring medieval ruins and a historic central plaza.
While Machalí reflects South America’s rugged wilderness and mining roots, Nowy Sącz embodies Eastern Europe’s centuries-old trade history. Yet, both communities stand as vibrant gateways where rich local histories seamlessly blend into dramatic mountain terrains.
