Dimitri Chatelain, 22, was officially sashed as the Mister Supranational 2026 representative of France. The sashing ceremony was held at Hotel Krakow in Krakow, Poland on July 21, 2026.
In Chatelain’s acceptance speech, he immediately shared his personal passion: cooking. He proudly connected his love for the culinary arts to his homeland, stating that he was honored to represent France as the world’s capital of gastronomy.
If Chatelain wins Mister Supranational 2026, he will be the pageant’s second French winner. The title was won by Diego Garcy of Mexico in 2016, Gabriel Correa of Venezuela in 2017, Prathamesh Maulingkar of India in 2018, Nate Crnkovich of the United States in 2019, Varo Vargas of Peru in 2021, Luis Daniel Galvez of Cuba in 2022, Ivan Alvarez Guedes of Spain in 2023, Fezile Mkhize of South Africa in 2024 and Swann Lavigne of France in 2025.

Chatelain hails from Mouans-Sartoux, Alpes-Maritimes, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, France. His journey in pageantry began when he was crowned Mister France Côte d’Azur 2026 in November 2025.
“This experience gave me the opportunity to grow, to challenge myself, and to represent my region with pride,” Chatelain said. On January 17, 2026, he represented Côte d’Azur at Mister France 2026 and competed against 26 other candidates at the Théâtre André Malraux in Rueil-Malmaison, Hauts-de-Seine, Île-de-France, France.
Maxence Brovillé of Auvergne, France won the title while Chatelain was the first runner-up. According to the latter, the result made his motivation even stronger.
“Beyond titles and competition, I believe that true success comes from positive effects we have on others,” Chatelain said. “My goal is to inspire people through authenticity and simplicity.”
Mister Supranational 2026
On July 4, 2024, Mkhize won Mister Supranational 2024 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sacz, Małopolska, Poland where he competed against 35 other candidates. France was not replaced.
On June 28, 2025, Lavigne won Mister Supranational 2025 at the same venue, making history as the competition’s first winner from France. He competed against 37 other candidates.
On August 1, 2026, Lavigne will go back to the same venue to crown his successor. FiśBanda, Mateusz Ziółko, Oktavvia and Tatiana Okupnik will perform during the coronation ceremony, which will be hosted by Mkhize and Ida Nowakowska.
