Daniel Jiawei Li, 36, has been officially sashed in Poland as China’s Mister Supranational 2026 representative. In his acceptance speech, he expressed how honored he was to represent his home country.
Li described China as a land of 5,000 years of history, modern technology, and giant pandas—playfully noting that his fellow candidates already knew pandas were his favorite animal. He wrapped up by inviting his pageant brothers, sisters, and everyone around the world to visit his country.
If Li wins, he will be the pageant’s first Chinese winner. The title was won by Diego Garcy of Mexico in 2016, Gabriel Correa of Venezuela in 2017, Prathamesh Maulingkar of India in 2018, Nate Crnkovich of the United States in 2019, Varo Vargas of Peru in 2021, Luis Daniel Galvez of Cuba in 2022, Ivan Alvarez Guedes of Spain in 2023, Fezile Mkhize of South Africa in 2024 and Swann Lavigne of France in 2025.
