BRAVE Combat Federation has made a key addition to its upcoming card in Bulgaria. Based in Bahrain, the mixed martial arts promotion announced a revamped bantamweight pairing for “BRAVE CF 107“.

In partnership with the Bulgarian Fight Agency, BRAVE CF confirmed that Bahrain’s Muhammad Idrisov will now meet Venezuelan competitor Alinson “El Chompiras” Ochoa on August 1, 2026 at the Arena Burgas in Burgas, Bulgaria.

The late adjustment comes after original opponent Nikolay Atanasov of Bulgaria was forced to pull out of the bout due to an injury.

Both Idrisov and Ochoa head into the matchup with plenty to prove on one of the promotion’s premier European stages.

Idrisov (12-2), one of Bahrain’s rising talents, boasts an impressive 50% finish rate across his career victories, boasting three knockouts and three submissions. A veteran of six fights inside the BRAVE CF cage, Idrisov holds a 4-2 promotional record and enters the contest coming off a decisive decision win over Marciano Ferreira at BRAVE CF 101.

“I am just happy that I still get to compete at BRAVE CF 107,” Idrisov said. “Preparing for an event like this takes a lot of sacrifice, so I appreciate everyone who worked to keep me on the card. I also want to thank Alinson Ochoa for stepping in. That shows courage, and I look forward to sharing the cage with him.”

Stepping up to take the short-notice fight is Ochoa (6-4), who returns for his second assignment under the BRAVE CF banner. The Venezuelan fighter, who holds three career stoppage wins (two KOs, one submission), made his promotional debut against former flyweight title contender Gerard Burns at BRAVE CF 97 and is now eyeing his first victory with the organization.

“I am grateful for this opportunity because competing in BRAVE CF is something every fighter wants,” Ochoa stated. “I accepted this fight because I believe in myself, and I am ready to prove that I belong among the best.”

Spanning three distinct continents, Bahrain, Venezuela, and Bulgaria represent a striking study in geographic contrast, rich cultural heritage, and distinct global footprints.

Bahrain is an architectural and financial hub for the Middle East. Known historically for its ancient Dilmun civilization and pearling industry, modern Bahrain balances its deep-rooted Arabian traditions with a thriving non-oil sector, financial services, and a celebrated presence in international athletics.

Across the Atlantic, Venezuela anchors the northern coast of South America with its dramatic landscapes, stretching from the Andes Mountains to the Caribbean coastline. Famous for boasting Angel Falls and immense natural resources, the nation holds a powerful cultural influence through its vibrant music, baseball legacy, and passionate combat sports tradition.

Situated at the crossroads of Southeastern Europe and the Black Sea, Bulgaria offers a rich tapestry of Thracian history, Balkan mountain ranges, and dynamic maritime cities like Burgas. As a gateway between East and West, it remains a vital European cultural center known for its historic architecture, biodiversity, and warm hospitality.
