Felipe Bayani Escudero Marasigan, 25, was officially sashed as the Mister Supranational 2026 representative of the Philippines on July 21, 2026. The sashing ceremony was held at Hotel Krakow in Krakow, Poland.
In Marasigan’s acceptance speech, he described the Philippines as a country that is known for its warmth “not just in weather but by its people as well”. He said he hoped he could share the same warmth with everybody at Mister Supranational 2026.
If Marasigan wins the title, he will be the pageant’s first Filipino winner. The title was won by Diego Garcy of Mexico in 2016, Gabriel Correa of Venezuela in 2017, Prathamesh Maulingkar of India in 2018, Nate Crnkovich of the United States in 2019, Varo Vargas of Peru in 2021, Luis Daniel Galvez of Cuba in 2022, Ivan Alvarez Guedes of Spain in 2023, Fezile Mkhize of South Africa in 2024 and Swann Lavigne of France in 2025.
Felipe Marasigan
Marasigan was raised in Fremont, California, United States by his mother Mari Escudero. He played basketball at Washington High School and Ohlone College, which are both in Fremont, and the De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde in Malate, Manila, Philippines.
“Raised by a single mother, I witnessed what true resilience looks like,” Marasigan shared. “As an immigrant and sole provider of our family, she carried our dreams on her shoulders. No matter how difficult life became, she never gave up. From her, I learned that resilience is not about avoiding hardship; it’s about rising every time life knocks you down.”
According to Marasigan, sports became his refuge and it gave him purpose, discipline, and the belief that his beginnings do not define his future. That belief led him to play professional basketball in the Philippines and represent the country as a member of its national handball team at the 2025 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games and the 2026 Asian Beach Games.
On April 15, 2026, Marasigan represented Manila and the Filipino community of California at Mister Pilipinas Worldwide 2026 and competed against 19 other candidates at Brighter Pictures in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. He ranked first and was crowned Mister Pilipinas Supranational 2026.
“The Philippines is known for its beauty, but our greatest strength is our resilience,” Marasigan stated. “We face challenges with courage, find hope in adversity, and welcome others with warmth and compassion. As athletes, we represent our country when we compete. As Filipinos, we represent our country every time we rise after we fall.”
