Nina Izadpanah, 24, will represent Iran at Miss Grand International 2026 in India. It is the 14th edition of the international beauty pageant based in Bangkok, Thailand.

Iran was represented in Miss Grand International by Bahareh Heidar in 2014, Shadi Osmani in 2015 and Ayda Mirahmadi in the 2020 edition in 20221. They were all unplaced.

Iranian-American television producer George Clooney was the national director of Miss Grand Iran from 2014 to 2020. In 2026, she was replaced by Roxana Mohammadgholinezhad and Daniela Costin, who is also the national director of Miss Grand UK.

On May 17, 2026, Pooja Ghodekar won Miss Grand UK 2026 at the Wyllyotts Theatre and Cinema in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, England, United Kingdom. On July 18, 2026, Izadpanah competed against 13 other Miss Grand Iran 2026 candidates at the same venue and won the title.

Ghodekar was one the Miss Grand Iran 2026 judges. The others were Ana Sofia Lendl, Juan Castillo, Mohammad Khordadian and Sepehir Akbari.

On October 18, 2025, Lendl represented Guatemala at Miss Grand International 2025 at the MGI Hall in Bangkok. She competed against 76 other candidates including Harriotte Lane of the U.K and Emma Tiglao of the Philippines.

Tiglao won the title. Lendl finished in the Top 10 and was named one of the five fifth runners-up while Lane finished in the Top 23.

In October 2026, Tiglao will crown her successor in India. The exact date and venue of the coronation ceremony have yet to be finalized.

Including Izadpanah and Ghodekar, more than 70 women will compete for the Miss Grand International 2026 crown. Among their fellow candidates are:

Izadpanah is a performance artist and a filmmaker. She is an alumna of Central Saint Martins, a constituent college of the University of the Arts London in London, England.

Asiede from arts, Izadpanah is also into travel, culture and yoga. She is originally from Qeshm, Iran.
