A high-stakes heavyweight collision has been revamped for BRAVE Combat Federation’s upcoming return to Bulgaria.
In partnership with the Bulgarian Fight Agency, BRAVE CF has officially announced that Ukrainian standout Danylo Voievodkin will now share the cage with Hungarian veteran Janos Csukas at “BRAVE CF 107”. The mixed martial arts event is set for August 1, 2026 at the Arena Burgas in Burgas, Bulgaria.
The late adjustment comes after former world title challenger Grégory “Robson” Robinet of France was forced to pull out of the card due to an injury.
Danylo Voievodkin vs Janos Csukas
Both Voievodkin and Csukas view the short-notice matchup as a crucial turning point in their respective promotional runs.
Voievodkin (7-1) built a formidable reputation on the regional scene before making waves with a swift 73-second submission win on “Dana White’s Contender Series” in 2024. Known for his finishing ability—holding five knockouts and two submissions across his seven career wins—the Ukrainian experienced his first professional setback in February 2026 during his BRAVE CF debut, falling to Genadi Jorjoliani at “BRAVE CF 104”.
Now, Voievodkin looks to re-establish his standing as one of the division’s top rising prospects. He said, “I am thankful that I still have the chance to compete at BRAVE CF 107.”
“I appreciate Janos for accepting this challenge and making sure the fight stays on the card,” the Ukrainian MMA fighter continued. “I am focused, prepared, and ready to give the fans a memorable performance.”
Stepping in to replace Robinet is Csukas, a seasoned competitor who has been fighting professionally since 2019. With 7 victories in 10 career outings across Europe, the Hungarian is no stranger to the BRAVE CF cage. He previously debuted against current Heavyweight Champion Pavel Dailidko at “BRAVE CF 79” in December 2023 and is aiming to secure his first victory under the promotion’s banner.
“It is an honor to compete on a stage like BRAVE CF once again,” Csukas stated. “I appreciate everyone who made this possible. I have stayed ready for opportunities like this, and I am excited to prove myself against a strong opponent.”
Burgas, Bulgaria
Burgas’s signature attraction is its sprawling coastal park, designed in 1910 by landscape architect Georgi Duhtev. Set directly above the Black Sea shoreline, its shaded avenues feature open-air theaters, colorful floral displays, and seaside cafes. From the park, stairs lead down to the Burgas Pier (Mostika), an iconic 300-meter structure offering 360-degree views across the bay.
Lake Atanasovsko & The Salt Pans
Just north of the city center lies a unique natural spa experience. High salinity turns parts of this coastal lagoon striking shades of pink. Visitors flock here for free open-air mud and mineral-rich lye baths known to benefit skin and joints. The lake is also part of the Via Pontica migration route, making it a world-class spot for birdwatching.
St. Anastasia Island
Located 7 kilometers offshore in Burgas Bay, this is Bulgaria’s only inhabited Black Sea island accessible by passenger boat. Steeped in medieval pirate legends, it features a restored 15th-century monastery, a lighthouse, and a restaurant serving fresh local seafood.
Pedestrian Center
Stroll along Aleksandrovska and Aleko Bogoridi streets—bustling pedestrian zones filled with historic architecture, outdoor dining, and local sculptures like the famous bronze Gramophone.
