Jose Mario Rodriguez Jimenez, 27, is a yoga and pilates facilitator from Grecia, Alajuela, Costa Rica. He represented the country in the eighth edition of Man of the World.
Costa Rica has seven provinces namely Alajuela, Cartago, Guanacaste, Heredia, Limon, Puntarenas and San Jose. Alajuela has 16 cantons namely Alajuela, Atenas, Grecia, Guatuso, Los Chiles, Naranjo, Orotina, Palmares, Poas, Rio Cuarto, San Carlos, San Mateo, San Ramon, Sarchi, Upala and Zarcero.
Mister Belleza Masculina Costa Rica 2026
On January 24, 2026, Rodriguez competed against 16 other Mister Belleza Masculina Costa Rica 2026 candidates in Belen, Heredia. He won the title.
Runner-up to Rodriguez was Dario Lopez of Puntarenas and the second runner-up was Juan Carlos Avendaño of Sixaola, Talamanca, Limon. Also crowned was Master of the Misters Costa Rica 2026 Armando Campos of San Jose.
Anlly Alvarado, Rayner Hernandez and Bryan Cespedes hosted the coronation ceremony, which featured performances by Angela Duarte, Kenner Garcia and Orgullo de Mi Patria.
Man of the World 2026
As Mister Belleza Masculina Costa Rica 2026, Rodriguez became Man of the World Costa Rica 2026. On June 6, 2026, he represented Costa Rica at Man of the World 2026 and competed against 27 other candidates at the Palacio de Maynila in Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines.
Oliver Eugen Kretz of the Philippines won the title and the respective first, second, third and fourth runners-up were Abel Adrian Díaz of Ecuador, Fidel Arellano of Chile, Luis Arturo Jauregui of Mexico and Afiq Naufal of Malaysia. Rodriguez finished in the Top 18.
Mister Belleza Masculina Costa Rica 2027
When and where Rodriguez will crown his successor have yet to be announced. It is the fourth edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the Man of the World, Mister Model International, Mister Earth International and Master of the Misters candidates of Costa Rica.
