Mohamed Alsameea of Bahrain was originally scheduled to face Aleksandar Hristov of Bulgaria at “BRAVE CF 107” at Arena Burgas in Burgas, Bulgaria on August 1, 2026. However, an injury forced the latter to withdraw from the card.

Determined to keep one of the event’s most intriguing young prospects on the lineup, BRAVE CF acted quickly to secure a replacement: Miran Ramani of Switzerland. He and Alsameea will now square off in a 59-kilogram catchweight bout.

“I have been preparing for this event for a long time, so I am thankful that I still get the opportunity to compete,” Alsameea said. “I appreciate Miran for accepting the fight, especially on short notice. It takes courage to step into this situation, and I am looking forward to sharing the cage with him and giving the fans a great fight.”

Standing 5’5″, Alsameea made his professional debut on December 15, 2023, and has rapidly emerged as one of Bahrain’s brightest homegrown talents. Build entirely on a series of explosive knockout victories, his undefeated professional run was further cemented on November 7, 2025, when he made his promotional debut at “BRAVE CF 100” in Isa Town, Bahrain, defeating Egypt’s Mahmoud Amr via technical knockout.

The heavy-handed Bahraini now holds a 5-1 professional record, with every appearance reinforcing his reputation as a relentless finisher. Another emphatic win in Bulgaria would only accelerate his rapid rise.

For Ramani, the short-notice matchup marks both his professional MMA debut and his first appearance under the BRAVE CF banner following a successful amateur tenure. While stepping into the cage against a rising finishing threat presents a daunting challenge, the Swiss standout views it as the ultimate launchpad.

“This is exactly the kind of opportunity I have been working toward,” Ramani said. “Making my professional debut on a BRAVE CF stage is an honor, and I am ready for whatever awaits me. I respect Mohamed Alsameea, but I believe in my preparation and I intend to prove that I belong among the sport’s top prospects.”

With Alsameea looking to extend his stoppage streak and Ramani eager to pull off a monumental debut upset, their clash adds an explosive dynamic to an already stacked “BRAVE CF 107” card.

Since establishing diplomatic relations in 1973, Bahrain and Switzerland have cultivated a dynamic partnership defined by finance, commerce, and strategic regional positioning. Though geographically distinct, both nations serve as influential economic gateways—Bahrain offering access to the broader Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) market and Switzerland opening avenues into Europe.

At the heart of their bilateral relationship is a flourishing commercial trade. Switzerland is renowned worldwide for its luxury watchmaking and banking expertise, making it a prominent trade partner for Bahrain, where high-end timepieces, jewelry, and financial services are in strong demand. Conversely, Bahrain’s major exports to Switzerland include raw aluminum and refined metals. This economic connection is further reinforced by the European Free Trade Association (EFTA)–GCC Free Trade Agreement and bilateral double-taxation treaties designed to encourage cross-border investment.

Beyond economics, the two nations engage in regular dialogues concerning human rights, civil aviation, and fintech innovation. Educational exchanges, including Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships available to Bahraini researchers, foster mutual intellectual growth. As both countries prioritize economic diversification, the relationship between Manama and Bern continues to evolve as a vital bridge between the Middle East and Europe.
