Automotive power and iconic video game lore have officially collided in a striking new crossover. Italian supercar maker Lamborghini and Xbox have partnered to build a custom, one-of-a-kind Super SUV: the Lamborghini Urus SE Master Chief 117 Edition. Created to mark the release of “Halo: Campaign Evolved“, the vehicle translates the unmistakable aesthetic of Master Chief Petty Officer John-117 into a high-performance, battle-ready road machine.

The one-off build starts with Lamborghini’s plug-in hybrid Urus SE platform, which pairs a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine with an electric motor to generate a staggering 789 horsepower and roughly 950 Nm of torque.

Outfitted to mimic the Spartan super-soldier’s MJOLNIR Assault Armor, the SUV features:

  • A matte armor-green finish complete with bold “117” side graphics.
  • UNSC Marine Corps emblems emblazoned on the rear tailgate.
  • Gold-tinted glass and yellow-tinted LED daytime running lights echoing Master Chief’s signature helmet visor, giving the already aggressive SUV an extraterrestrial, tactical appearance.

Exclusive sweepstakes, virtual integration

While the custom full-scale vehicle serves as an exclusive promotional showpiece, Xbox is giving fans a chance to take a piece of the collaboration home. As detailed by Xbox News, the brand is hosting a global sweepstakes offering a detailed 1:18 scale replica model of the Master Chief 117 Edition. Gaming and auto enthusiasts can enter the giveaway on X (formerly Twitter) by following Xbox and reposting the official sweepstakes announcement with the hashtag #MasterChief117Sweepstakes before September 13, 2026.

For gamers eager to take the wheel virtually, the custom Master Chief livery will also arrive in “Forza Horizon 6“. Available as a free in-game download through the Message Center starting July 30, 2026, players can experience the hybrid Super SUV on virtual roads at no additional cost.

By blending legendary gaming culture with cutting-edge hybrid engineering, the Lamborghini Urus SE Master Chief 117 Edition stands out as one of the most memorable video game car collaborations in recent history. Whether admired on a shelf as a collector’s replica or driven across virtual landscapes, it brings the spirit of Halo directly into the automotive spotlight.

“Halo: Campaign Evolved” is a ground-up remake of the single-player and cooperative campaign from the landmark 2001 first-person shooter “Halo: Combat Evolved“. Developed by Halo Studios and published by Xbox Game Studios, the game officially launched on July 28, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S.

Modernized visuals, expanded co-op

Rebuilt using Unreal Engine 5, the game delivers modern high-definition visuals, overhauled environments, remade story cinematics, and re-recorded dialogue from the original principal voice cast.

While the release omits classic competitive player-versus-player multiplayer, it expands the core campaign experience by supporting:

  • Two-player split-screen on consoles.
  • Up to four-player online cooperative play across all platforms.

New content, gameplay enhancements

In addition to faithful recreations of the original q0 missions, “Campaign Evolved” introduces three prequel story missions titled “Operation: METEORITE,” featuring Master Chief and Sergeant Avery Johnson. The gameplay sandbox is further enhanced with:

  • Refined controls and modernized movement options.
  • Vehicle hijacking capabilities.
  • An expanded arsenal featuring nine iconic weapons from later entries in the series, such as the Energy Sword and Battle Rifle.

Serving as a brand-new entry point for the franchise, it successfully bridges two decades of gaming history.
