Misbah Arshad, 26, will represent Pakistan at Miss Universe 2026. It is the 75th edition of the international beauty pageant based in Samut Prakan, Thailand and New York City, New York, United States.
This is not the first time Arshad is competing in an international beauty pageant. She was Pakistan’s representative in the 18th edition of Miss Aura International, the 61st edition of Miss International and the 15th edition of Miss Supranational.
Misbah Arshad
Originally from in Lahore, Pakistan, Arshad is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Hagen in Hagen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. On May 31, 2023, she was crowned Miss Pakistan World 2023.
On September 18, 2023, Arshad represented Pakistan at Miss Aura International 2023, competed against 42 other candidates at Resort Rixos Sungate in Kemer, Antalya, Turkiye and was unplaced. Ketwalee Phonbodi of Thailand won the title.
On October 26, 2023, Arshad represented Pakistan at Miss International 2023, competed against 69 other candidates at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan and was unplaced. The winner was Andrea Rubio of Venezuela.
On July 6, 2024, Arshad represented Pakistan at Miss Supranational 2024, competed against 67 other candidates at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Malopolska, Poland and was unplaced. Harashta Haifa Zahra of Indonesia emerged as the winner.
Miss Universe Pakistan 2026
Including Arshad, 10 finalists competed for the Miss Universe Pakistan 2026 crown in the Philippines. The competition was president by the House of Yugen and co-presented by XPEDITION Magazine, which are both owned by Josh Yugen.
Filmed at the Rizal Park Hotel in Ermita, Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines, the recorded video of the coronation ceremony was released on YouTube in two parts on August 18, 2026 and August 19, 2026. The judges were Bailey May, Dr. Cyril Mitchel Agan, Evlin Khalifa, Gwendolyne Fourniol, Jenny Murdoch, Na Young Kim-Paz, Salvador “Sal” Panelo and Sonia M. Bhardwaj.
Jazper Tiongson and Haruhiko Golimlim hosted the show. In the end, Arshad won the title and was crowned by Roma Riaz.
Runner-up to Arshad was Zara Younus. The respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Samina Minhas, Muskan Effendi and Hanish Qureshi.
Aside from winning the title, Arshad also won the Best Traditional Wear award and Minhas won the Voice of Impact award and the Digital Fan Vote. The other candidates were Afshan Sial, Anusha Khawaja, Eleshba Bhatti, Reema Ghosh and Sabina Saeed.
Prior to the coronation ceremony, the candidates went to the Villa Elisa Resort in Botolan, Zambales, Philippines for their burkini competition. They also took part in a charity outreach program in the municipality.
On November 24, 2026, Arshad will represent Pakistan at Miss Universe 2026 and compete against more than 120 other candidates at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Among her fellow candidates are:

On November 2,1 2025, Riaz represented Pakistan at Miss Universe 2025 and competed against 117 other candidates at the Impact Challenger Hall in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, Thailand. She was unplaced.
