Maxime Klinger is an entrepreneur who used to be a gymnast. He represented Grand Est, Alsace, France in the 17th edition of Mister France and the country in the eighth edition of Mister Global and the 11th edition of Mister World.

Klinger is an alumnus of Lycée Jean Mermoz in Saint-Louis, Haut-Rhin, Grand Est as well as CFA Roosevelt and Ecole Pro Format, which are both in Mulhouse, Haut-Rhin. He is 6’0″ tall and he speaks French, German and English.

A former gymnast, Klinger was once confined to a wheelchair for several months after losing the movements of his legs, which led to obesity. Eventually, he relearned how to walk and lost more than 35 pounds.

From 2018 to 2019, Klinger was a logistician at Lagerhäuser Aarau AG in Aarau, Aargau, Switzerland and From 2019 to 2020, he was a sports coach at L’Orange Bleue in Sierentz, Mulhouse. On October 19, 2019, he was crowned Mister France Grand Est 2019 in Colmar, Haut-Rhin.

On January 11, 2020, Klinger represented Grand Est at Mister France 2020 and competed against 27 other candidates at the Palais des Glaces in Paris. He was third runner-up to Thomas Cornelus.

In October 2022, Klinger founded L’agence MK in Haut-Rhin. On January 20, 2023, he was appointed Mister Global France 2022.

On February 11, 2023, Klinger represented France at Mister Global 2022 and competed against 38 other candidates at the Royal Park Rajapruek in Chiang Mai, Thailand. He was unplaced.

Arthit Mek-Arkart and Kuntida Muntrikaeo hosted the coronation ceremony. Juan Carlos Ariosa of Cuba won the title while Oscar Guerrero of Colombia and William Gama of Brazil were the respective first and second runners-up.

On August 8, 2024, Klinger was appointed Mister World France 2024. On November 23, 2024, he represented France at Mister World 2024 at NovaWorld in Phan Thiết, Bình Thuận, Vietnam.

Daniel Mejia of Puerto Rico won the title while Klinger was unplaced. A total of 60 candidates competed for the title including Phạm Tuấn Ngọc of Vietnam, the first runner-up, Antonio Company of Spain, the second runner-up, and Top 20 semifinalists Bruno Barbieri Roggiero of Italy and Daryn Friedman of the United States.

In June 2025, Klinger traveled to Monte Carlo, Monaco and Porto Cervo, Arzachena, Sassari, Sardinia, Italy. In August 2025, he traveled to Marbella, Malaga, Andalusia, Spain and Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

On February 25, 2026, Klinger turned 27. In April 2026, he traveled to Seville, Andalusia.
