Mister World Belgium 2024 Nathan de Schepper is widening his horizons by relocating from his home country to Australia. Seamlessly transitioning from modeling to beauty pageants, he is now opening new doors as an actor.
Nathan de Schepper
Born and raised in Oudenaarde, East Flanders, Flemish Region, Belgium, de Schepper is now based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. He is 6’21⁄2” tall.
Aside from modeling, de Schepper is also into horse riding. He studied to become a teacher of economics and English for high school students and he supports Belgian projects using hippotherapy to help people with physical and mental health conditions.
The Oudenaarde native is an alumnus of GBZ de Bosrank in Zingem, East Flanders. From 2016 to 2017, he attended GO! atheneum Oudenaarde in Oudenaarde.
From 2017 to 2021, de Schepper attended Ka Waregem in Waregem, West Flanders, Belgium. In 2021, he entered KASK & Conservatorium in Ghent, East Flanders to pursue a bachelor’s degree in interior design.
From modeling to pageants
In May 2022, de Schepper participated in Top Model Europe 2022 as a finalist at Steigenberger Wiltcher’s in Brussels, Belgium. He walked for Maxime Edward and Fauvette Nacto as part of the competition.
In November 2022, de Schepper and his fellow finalists of the Belgian modeling contest Model & Mannequin traveled to Paris, France. On December 5, 2022, he won the competition at AMUZ in Antwerp, Belgium.
While employed as a tour manager, de Schepper competed against seven other Mister World Belgium 2024 finalists at the Ipanema Beach Club in Hasselt, Limburg, Flemish Region on July 7, 2024. He won the title.
From pageants to acting
On November 23, 2024, de Schepper represented Belgium at Mister World 2024 and competed against 60 other candidates at NovaWorld in Phan Thiết, Bình Thuận, Vietnam. He finished in the Top 20.
Daniel Mejia of Puerto Rico won the title. The respective first, second and third runners-up were Phạm Tuấn Ngọc of Vietnam, Antonio Company of Spain and Salvador Crisball of Angola.
Like de Schepper, Daryn Friedman of the United States finished in the Top 20. Lochlan “Lochie” Carey of Australia was unplaced but he was crowned Mister World Oceania 2024.
In December 2025, de Schepper spent the year-end vacation in Lilydale, Victoria, Australia. In the same month, he was featured as a bit player in the DramaBox US mini-series “Love to Hate You”.
On February 3, 2026, de Schepper turned 23. “Love to Hate You” was released in the U.S. on February 12, 2026.
“Loved being a part of this!” de Schepper wrote on social after the premiere of the mini-series. “I was just a featured extra, but it was sooooo much fun! Big love to everyone who was a part of this!”
Also from Belgium, Tom Nuyens won the inaugural edition of Mister World on September 20, 1996. On March 18, 2026, he turned 53.
